no problemo! And good luck, I hope you'll continue to enjoy it (or enjoy it more once it gets less confusing haha). If you have any questions feel free to message me
I’m trying so hard to stick with this but I have admit 3 episodes in I’m so confused with how many clans there…
It gets less confusing as you watch more of it. In the beginning it's very confusing, indeed, but you learn to differentiate the characters and their story lines after a while. I was exactly like you in the beginning, super confused and constantly looking at the cast list on here, but I ended up loving it and after a few more episodes I was able to remember the characters. I'd recommend not giving it up just yet! Also try using the fandom wiki to help you remember the clans and characters, that really helps, too. Technically it's bromance because of Chinese censorship, but it's adapted from a BL novel (so they're confirmed to be canon!) and it heavily implies romance between the main leads and neither of them does anything straight. As someone who is usually very sceptical of bromance and prefers BLs, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved their relationship in this.
oh my godddddddd I just finished it and I can't believe it's over. I suppose the only cure for this is to read the novel next haha. This show is absolutely brilliant, it's so addictive that I watched all 50 episodes in one week :')
This is my first C-drama and I was impressed with it at first - the chem between the main leads is out of the…
the special edition is just 20 episodes long, I haven't seen it yet but I heard it condenses the story quite well so I think that would be a good option
This has been in my to watch list for almost a year now HAHAHA IDK is this really worth it if I love BL? 50 eps…
Coming from a huge BL fan all I can say is: in my opinion, it's totally worth it. Even though it's Chinese and therefore censorship makes it impossible to adapt the confession, kissing and steamy scenes from the novel, there is a lot of implied romance between the main leads. And I mean A LOT, there's so much gay staring, flirting, worrying, caring for each other and a bit of jealousy as well. They even declare themselves soulmates. I don't usually watch shows this long either but I really love this one. It's a little confusing to begin with, but once you start recognising the characters and learn more about the world, it's super interesting.
HELP! I just finished The Untamed and I need a rebound drama. I'm going to plan a rewatch of the show (and I never…
If you'd be interested in straight up BL I can recommend Manner of Death, a Thai mystery thriller type drama that is quite engaging. I've been quite obsessed with it before starting the Untamed this week (now I'm mostly obsessed with the Untamed haha). It's quite nice to have a BL that isn't a romantic drama for a change. It's almost finished, the last episode's gonna air on Monday.
i watched the untamed a couple times and completed it and i'm a girl and im straight i like it best they are my…
It's okay, don't worry. I think the only thing people dislike that sometimes happens with straight people watching gay content is when they fetishise it: for example, if you make actors uncomfortable by shipping them (too much), if you think men kissing is hot but women kissing is disgusting, things like that. But if none of that describes you and you just enjoy it in the same way you enjoy any romance, there's nothing wrong with that.
This monday I started watching this with no knowledge about it at all except for the fact that it's extremely popular and quite long and complex (and a touch gay). Now it's Friday, I'm at the halfway point and absolutely addicted to this show, I definitely plan on reading the book despite the fact that it's more than 1000 pages long (lol), and I've read tons of articles from the fandom wiki. I can't stop thinking about it all day, even when I do other stuff. Damn... No wonder this is so hyped.
don't start a drama right before exams, don't start a drama right before exams, don't start a drama right before…
good luck with those exams then, you're gonna need it! of all the shows to start before exams you had to choose a really long one with a complex story that is also amazingly addictive lol
Both Joong and Nine are in upcoming Chinese TV shows, so all episodes with MingKit scenes were taken down, probably…
Oh goodness. That's sad, I loved MingKit couple so much. It's none of China's business, it wasn't even distributed in China - YouTube is technically banned there anyway, isn't it? though I know people get around that thank you for the info!
Pin Jun deserved better. I wish he had found someone else, I really needed an extra scene where he meets someone…
yeah I cried, too. I'm so angry that Pin Jun didn't get a happy ending. He was the best character! The only person who was loyal to his boyfriend, caring and sweet and supportive and understanding. The ending was just stupid. I thought maybe he'd get together with Xiao K, that would have been sweet. I'm gonna go cry in a corner
I just went on YouTube and found that a bunch (more than half) of the 2moons2 videos are privatised?? What the hell? Does anyone know what that's about?
Ugh I just finished this and I honestly was quite upset in the end. The two mains are so unlikeable, they're cheating, lying bastards. Hai Qing took Pin Jun's kindness for granted, and in the end Pin Jun went through hell only to be left alone. I hated that, I really wanted to see Pin Jun find someone better, someone who cherishes him the way he deserves. I couldn't empathise with the two main characters at all, they were just so selfish and indecisive. Meanwhile Pin Jun was so kind and hard-working, attractive, loyal, supportive, all the things you would look for in an ideal partner, but he only got hurt. At least he let go of Hai Qing, because he would have only been hurt more if he had stayed with Hai Qing's feeble-minded ass. I just wish there was some sort of scene where he finds a new, better love. Overall, this show left me feeling angry, sad and disappointed. Not gonna ever watch it again.
Chen Pin Jun is the best character in this drama.he fought every time for his bf and he got even an accident ..last…
Pin Jun deserved better. I wish he had found someone else, I really needed an extra scene where he meets someone new, someone who treasures him the way he deserves. Not someone who takes him for granted and cheats on him like Hai Qing
Ok sure the “fairy tale” love is cute but why did you have to step all over the real life epic love you already…
Honestly I was so upset at how they treated their partners, especially Pin Jun. Pin Jun was the best character, the nicest person ever, and all he got was shit. #JusticeforPinJun
Eh they just dropped another small teaser with the girl and I'm not liking it all. If they are going to focus…
ugh yeah. I don't understand how anyone identifies with fujoshi roles. Are some of these fans who say the girl represents them really that annoying in real life? I love watching BL but I never ship real life people. People are just living their lives, why anyone would go around taking pictures and squealing at gay couples is beyond me. I hated the fujoshi role in History1 Stay Away From Me so much, too (she was problematic af). I watched the first episode of the Shipper and abandoned it immediately because I was so annoyed lol
(Edit: I found her instagram, yay - @erol________1111)
