It's been over three hours since I finished the episode and I'm still reeling from it. I don't think I have done anything in the last three hours except thinking about the episode, writing and answering comments about the episode, rewatching different scenes from the episode, and just generally staring into space thinking about this show
Yeah, I know what you mean, and I kinda agree. But I've seen some BL were season 2 was good. Like We best love.…
yeah, we'll see how they end it, but really even if they end it on the potential cliffhanger that I talked about earlier which I think they might do, there's still not that much that comes after that in the current novel. It's just kind of happy after that, and we all know happiness doth write no series (does that count as a spoiler? I hope not, I tried to keep it vague lol)
Well, season 2 will be about the content of the new book. They didn't cover all the special chapters of the book,…
I wish I had your optimism! Well, let's hope the new novel has plenty of interesting, good material and not just a boring cheating storyline. Maybe we'll get more KimChay, TimeTayTem and (most importantly) VegasPete (I love VegasPete the most. Also I kinda think KinnPorsche's story is finished at this point, after the current KinnPorsche novel. But anyway I'm not even sure what they'd do with VegasPete in season 2, like, how are they even gonna have Venice?? and is the plot twist gona be that Vegas finally goes to therapy? lol)
Yeah, I know what you mean, and I kinda agree. But I've seen some BL were season 2 was good. Like We best love.…
that reminds me that I really need to watch that season of WBL. I loved the first season so I was extremely worried that I wasn't gonna like season 2 so for some reason I never ended up watching it (I probably thought I can't get disappointed if I don't watch it in the first place lol). Well let's hope KinnPorsche s2 has some good stuff coming, because just based on what's left that they won't use from the special chapters in KinnPorsche novel, I currently cannot imagine that filling more than one or two episodes - the sequel to the novel is still unpublished so who knows what happens in it...
The sequel of the book is coming focusing on vegaspete so the second season will be based on that
I've been wondering about that book, because I've read VegasPete's special chapters (loved them) but they were really only accompanying what was happening in the KinnPorsche novel's story. I mean there are some things that I'm sure won't end up in tomorrow's episode, like how they're definitely not gonna have Venice, the trip to visit Pete's grandma, and to be honest I think they might even end VegasPete's story at the car crash scene so they might not even include Vegas in the hospital and them reuniting. So there's some things, but if there's gonna be a whole novel about VegasPete there must be much more than that happening.. The VegasPete side story ends pretty happily after all, with the Christmas special. So there must be more drama that we don't know about yet in the new novel. I don't know, I'll try to keep an open mind and hope that the material they have to work with is better than what I have in my head right now. I'm kinda sceptical, even though VegasPete are my favourite couple, I'm just worried they'll ruin it.
People keep talking about season 2. What I'm wondering is... what would they even base season 2 on? All the main drama in the novel culminates in the confrontation scene that we'll get next episode. I don't know what they want to do in season 2 to keep it interesting and how are they not gonna ruin the integrity of the couples' love stories?? I just can't imagine it turning out well. Second seasons of popular BLs that did really well in the first season are always kind of shit, they always have stupid exes or cheating or if those don't happen, then they're just boring and uneventful and add nothing to the story (like Love by Chance season 2 where pretty much NOTHING happened), just cash grabs. I don't remember watching a single second season that really added anything of value (not counting re-makes like the current season of Love Mechanics or 2moons2, those are kinda nice)
In the book, no. Some people think that they're gonna change things from the book though, some people think Vegas…
yeah, I really think that's not gonna happen, I think they'll stick to what happens in the book for the most part so only one character dies (apart from disposable nameless bodyguards, that is) - though I think they might end VegasPete's story early so that we might get more of them in season 2 - honestly I'm kind of expecting (maybe even dreading?) a cliffhanger on the VegasPete story because when I read the book I kept thinking "If I made a series about this, where would I cut it to give the fans the most shock?" and now I keep thinking they'll end Vegas and Pete's story on a scene that'd definitely make a geat cliffhanger. But who knows, we'll see next week I guess lol
Oh and another spoiler that I need. Will any of the six main characters die ? Cuz if it's the case, I'm gonna…
In the book, no. Some people think that they're gonna change things from the book though, some people think Vegas might die. Personally, I don't think so. I don't think they're gonna kill anyone that wasn't killed in the book. Someone did die, but none of the couples.
Ooooo it will have international premiere on July 6 on GagaOOLalaLike most of JBL these days end up on gagaoola..…
I hope it'll be on viki, even though I can't find any confirmation that they'll pick it up. I already have a viki subscription so don't wanna buy gagaooolala too. I already have way too many subscriptions, I'm already paying for iQiyi only to watch KinnPorsche 😂😂
I really dont care much of age gap between fictional characters but same goes in real life, as long the other…
Yeah same, idc either. my parents are 16 years apart but then again when they met my mum was in her twenties so I guess that's better than when one is still a teenager. I don't have a problem with age gaps, they might have a higher risk of the older partner being kinda toxic but that's not always true, there's plenty of healthy relationships with big age gaps.
I just started watching and for some reason I especially loved it when they said in the meeting that they're being "subcontracted by the subcontractor's subcontractor" - too real 😂ðŸ˜
I haven't watched anything from the "En of Love" series and I started this one since I was looking for something…
The thing with Love Mechanics is that from the book to the mini series to the full series, the story is just always hella problematic: starting with how Vee basically SA's a drunk Mark who thinks he's having sex with Bar, to the whole cheating thing and the misogyny in how Ploy's cheating is treated versus how Vee's cheating is treated (though I have been excusing this to myself as just coming from the fact that it's from Vee's and Mark's POV so they would probably rather focus on Ploy's cheating for their own self-image), and with Vee just being a shitty spineless lover throughout, but SOMEHOW I always still ended up enjoying their story. Dunno how. Even though Vee is a little shit, he grows on you as a character. He treats Mark like shit in the beginning, so I guess his character development makes him more interesting. Also Mark is wonderful and War is doing a great job with his expressions. You really start rooting for Mark's happiness, and if that happiness is with Vee-the-shithead then so be it. Somehow I really liked the book, the mini-series and I like this series so far, too. Laughed a lot at that stupid scene with the psychiatric patient.
okay, so I'm terribly late to the party and I did not follow what was going on with this series so forgive my…
Idk if this is the real answer and it probably isn't, but I personally think it was because they were the least popular couple in the En of Love series. I also thought their mini-series was the worst among the three (though This is Love Story wasn't that great, either). But I could be wrong.
But isn’t it funny how it like nobody heard his declaration of love to mark I really never get these scene in…
I know right, it was so weird and out of the blue, like okay maybe he just said that to get him released from the mad guy but then why was he so emotional about it and everyone just brushed over it. The whole scene was just so bizarre. Also the man's WIG! It was TERRIBLE! I never saw such a terrible, fake-looking wig, it even beats Sin in UWMA and that dude in Meow Ears Up. It all made me laugh though 😂
(does that count as a spoiler? I hope not, I tried to keep it vague lol)
