I hope they'll kiss in the last episode. I can imagine that this one might end without a kiss. Not that it would ruin the show if they didn't kiss since it's a well told story, but I think it would be sweet if they did

These two are on par with Hira and Kiyoi from My Beautiful Man as couples that are absolutely terrible at communication even after many years of being together. They also have it in common that they seem toxic at first but aren't really because they just have a weird dynamic of tsundere & masochist that is ultimately consensual. Even if they're being weird about communication, who cares as long as they're happy.

Because of Chinese laws against homosexuality in TV it's censored, so it's a bromance with nothing explicitly gay like a kiss on the lips. It's adapted from a BL novel though so it's definitely meant to be gay, but they have to be super careful to make the gayness a little bit ambiguous so that they can argue in front of censors that they're just really good friends/close brothers.

Yeah, they were definitely also really good in their other projects and I liked them! I'm really glad we get so see more types of roles from them now

For me, I feel like the way they might do this if they are going to do this well (and not a "love conquers all" cliché) is making it slightly open-ended. As in, he will still be an alcoholic but decides to try starting treatment with the support of his future boyfriend etc. If he was cured it would be bullsh*t, but if he decides to work on himself and is at the beginning of that process and builds a support system that may or may not include a romantic partner (but hopefully will because I'm not gonna give up on SandRay, I WILL go down with this ship) - then I think that would work out

I'm really impressed with Mark and Neo's acting in this series, we didn't see their full abilities before as less complex side characters. Mark was an amazing comedic relief in My School President so I was excited to see what else he could do, and in this series he gets to show the full range of emotions and he's so good. I hope this means he'll get more main roles because he deserves it! Same for Neo, he is just nailing this role as a manipulative yet charming playboy

he's kind of doing it to himself though. Boston might be sweet to him at times but it's not like he's lying to him about not wanting a relationship

In my language there's a saying for these kinds of people "stille Wässer sind tief" (quiet/still waters are deep) and sometimes "stille Wässer sind tief und dreckig" (quiet waters are deep and dirty) basically also saying to watch out for the quiet people

I think in a way it's for the best. If Sand was an angel and never did anything wrong then there would be a certain imbalance in his relationship with Ray. This way they are more evenly matched.

Best episode yet! Messy as fuck and I'm living for it. Ray's scene at the club and the one after with Ray and Sand had me breathless and half-strangling my cuddly toy.

I would say that the last episode takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, but the ending isn't bad. I think I'd describe it as hopeful. Slightly open ending but not very, a second season seems possible with the ending of the first

I want to start this and am wondering if the YouTube version is different from the streaming version? I can't figure out if the streaming version is extended like with many shows

I'm gonna watch the special ep next and hope it heals me from how triggered I got watching ep13. I saw clips from the special episode that were very spicy and fun

just finished it and my god... that last episode killed me. Not an easy watch for a survior of SA

writing and acting is more important, so it's still a good show. But those moments did take me out of the flow of the story a bit because I was like "wtf is that mike doing there" instead of paying attention to the scene. It's like when you read a good book but it has a lot of typos in it. Typos don't make the story worse but they can be annoying and take you out of your reading flow
