I think seeing her innocent, loving, and selfless sister's first heartbreak is enough for her to stab him, especially…
We know and saw that Qing Kui wouldn't let that happen and Ye Tan wouldn't have killed him since Qing Kui would've been the one to suffer.
But if, by some chance he died from the wound, it would've been his karma for all the tricks he played on her. His sincerity didn't come until later and even if it did, it doesn't change that their relationship was built on a foundation of lies.
On the ep 21 22 i dont like the real YETAN because she hurts chaofeng for protect her sister… but but girl ,…
I think seeing her innocent, loving, and selfless sister's first heartbreak is enough for her to stab him, especially since he was saying that he was only using her and nothing was sincere. All her life, Qing Kui is the only one in the human realm who ever cared for her so her protective instincts towards Qing Kui are very strong.
I love that each time she meets a shard, her first impression is generally awe and shock and then she observes them and they shatter that impression miserably lol when she finally gets to know them each, she recognizes the endearing part of You Qin.
It’s my first time seeing a xianxia where the mortal realm knows the existence of other realms. Usually mortal…
I believe the plan was for each to cultivate and become queens in their respective realms. Qing Kui would've become an immortal and Ye Tan would've become a voidwalker.
Every time something goes amiss between Qing Kui and Chao Feng, Fei Chi is there to figuratively dig the dagger in deeper into Chao Feng's heart and I'm loving every moment of it. There's nothing like having a bestie who can give you shit while simultaneously defending your honor lol
I love both couples so much! I appreciate that each couple is at a different part of their relationship. Qing Kui and Chao Feng are experiencing their conflict/betrayal/heartbreak while Ye Tan and Yong Qin are still at the courting stage. It makes for a nice contrast in mood. Qing Kui/Chao Feng is more the standard xian xia where they fell hard and fast because Qing Kui is so endearingly sincere in everything she does while Ye Tan/Yong Qin are meeting a lot of hiccups along the way because they are a-dork-ably stumbling along. Nevertheless, each is so enjoyable to watch on their own and I can't wait until all 4 people start intersecting and the boys are forced to get along for their girls.
I also commend leaving this drama at 40 episodes. Despite creating 3 additional love lines with each shard, since the drama is shorter, there's no room for fillers so every episode has to count which means we get about 2-3 episodes per shard..which seems fitting otherwise I could see the drama starting to drag if it were any longer.
i feel so bad for qing kui 🥺 she's literally the sweetest. she deserves the best & la mu doesn't deserve to…
I think once it's revealed that the twins were swapped, both men will leave their respective realms for their ladies. . .at least until it's revealed that the girls are the twin flower.

I think it also shows how naive she is too though. Chao Feng is doing that because the only way he can protect himself, his mother, and Qing Kui is if he becomes crown prince. If Ding Yu becomes emperor, he would eliminate the 3 of them first.
Just love love love this drama so far! It's what's getting me out of my drama land slump. Everything from the characters, plot, actors/actresses, comedic timing is just hitting all my sweet spots. I love that the drama doesn't take itself too seriously and sprinkles humor throughout each episode which makes watching that much more enjoyable!
Is there unnecessary drama, breakup, misunderstanding? Worth watching? And romance type?
Not yet there isn't. It has the standard xianxia drama tropes but tweaks them. If anything, this drama is more comedy and less drama compared to the standard fare of xianxia.
I can't emphasize how much I LOOOOOOVE these sisters! Their devotion and loyalty to each other is so endearing. It is really too rare in drama land to see such a good sisterly bond. I have no doubt that were the situation is reverse, Ye Tan would've snuck out to warn Qing Kui and make sure she was okay too. As much as Qing Kui may like Changfeng, she would never betray Ye Tan for him...and it's time he realized that. I like that he's also realizing his path to the throne will mean losing her heart. As soon as Ye Tan sees Chao Feng's face, all his secrets will be revealed. Things are about to get tough for this third prince, and I can't wait. The man has been lying for far too long.
I also love that while each sister's personalities are wildly different to the people and places they swapped to, their differences are exactly why their "new" families love them so much. Ye Tan won over her in-laws due to her rowdy and carefree nature while Qing Kui's kindness is what endeared her to the Void realm people. Of course I omit all the daddies from this statement.

It's an unfortunate circumstance for all of them.
