It may be different from the manhua, but Sun has changed so much since he met Chang Ge. I bet at the beginning, besides the women at his Eagle Camp, no one would dare get close to him because of how cold he looks hahaha

When I watch a Chinese drama I can always tell which one is Uyghur because they have an ethereal beauty to them.

From what I understand:
They were discussing what Changge is going to do next since it's now revealed that she's in the city. Sun said for her to go back to the grasslands with him since no one knows of it. She said she'd think about and he said that she still owes him 3 favors. She said she thought that when she died or almost died, she thought the debts between them were cleared.
That's what offended him.

You're definitely not alone. He obviously loves his daughter but his favoritism was for Chang Ge. I think Le Yan even commented that her father? once said she should be more like Chang Ge. Plus, when he saw how much she changed, he said that she seems more like Chang Ge now and it caused an air of awkwardness.

She doesn't say that precisely but I think it's what she implied.
It was in episode 32 after Changge and Sun return to Gongsen Heng's people. She ponders what to do next since Hao Du knows she's in the city. Sun suggests returning to the grasslands with him and mentions how she still owes him 3 things. She says that when she died, she thought their debts were cleared and he was very upset by it.

Viki has had episodes subtitled 2 hours after they air which is already very impressive. I don't think there are any subbers who follow the VVIP schedule. Normally subtitles for Chinese dramas are behind by about a week so I'm already super grateful Viki is so on top of it.

As of now, new allies have been made and the "big bad" has been revealed...not that most of us probably had any doubt about who it was. It actually makes me pity Sher. No matter how good he could potentially be, he was essentially doomed due to who his parents are.

Sun wearing his heart on his sleeves and constantly telling Changge he doesn't want to be without her anymore is giving me heart palpitations ^^

It makes me sad she's not as responsive to his affections..probably due to residual guilt she still feels. When she told him she thought their relationship ended when she died, it felt like a slap to his face ... you could tell it really hurt him when she said that, as if all the conflicts they survived through together only amounted to so little in her mind.

And of course, one of my fears came true as Sun has now lost 1 of his band of 4 rowdy brothers. The worst part is that they don't even know they lost him TT

Plot twist: Sun is actually a long-lost prince of the Sui dynasty lol

It truly speaks volumes that Sun's foster mother would rather sacrifice herself than let Sun kowtow to a self-absorbed dimwit like Sher

I suppose if you've seen The Untamed, Sher would be the equivalent of Jiang Cheng.
If Sher was malicious, it'd be really easy to hate him. The problem is that he's simply foolish..which causes a lot of "foot-in-mouth" situations.

Definitely replayed that scene multiple times. It was so intense how he literally threw his sword to the ground and went straight for her. *be still my poor heart**

25-30 were part of the VIP schedule. I think subbing is following the original airing schedule of Mon-Wed

The only people who truly went through life-altering experiences were Chang Ge and Le Yan. The men were in stasis-mode this entire time..which didn't affect Sun's awesomeness at all.

We'll see how the men adapt to the changes that their women have gone through which will probably be what forces their own growth.

That's actually sad because Dilireba was the perfect choice as Chang Ge partially because of her Uyghur background yet it's completely omitted from the drama.
I'm so scared for Sun's men. His 4 main guys have really grown on me and I don't want to see them die. . .especially now since they are vulnerable without him.

A scene back in episode 23 that stuck with me for no particular reason was when Sun challenged Sher to the duel and his father said he could have any reward except for people from Khaotun's tent. At the time, I wondered why the Khan would think Sun wanted anyone from Khaotun's tent. If maybe, the Khan was trying to show respect to Khaotun, which was very unlikely considering how abusive he is.

Then I realized it was because the Khan didn't want Sun claiming his mother as his prize TT

Little details like that just make the heart hurt more after all the events that transpired.

She's right though hahahah
I've wondered too if they were told to stand that way in the drama, but hearing her say they automatically puffed up their chests when told "Action" is hilarious hahha

I'm assuming this is where the drama diverges from the incomplete manhua then?
If that's the case, the drama could have a sad ending ??
But fingers crossed!!

Chang Ge and Le Yan seem to have found a new sense of peace and tranquility as they progress forward. The only one still caught up in the past is Wei Shu Yu. His pining and following Chang Ge everywhere is annoying.

I'm really missing Sun's people. It's been too long since we've seen them.

I feel your frustration. I don't think Changge is completely at fault either. Yes, she made some bad decisions but that's how she'll learn in the future. She's fierce and headstrong, but still very naive about certain matters.
