I think this was executed nicely. I’m glad after all this time thinking he came to a final conclusion: Shi De is extremely naïve though. He really is surprised every time he finds out that what’s his face lied to him. Like honey he already said he played your ass like a fiddle and you still shocked every time. All I can say is the ending caught me off guard and I can’t wait for the next episode. This one gave me a lot of butterflies, finally
Side couple is again, great. Though it is a bit slow. Zhen Xuan honestly doesn’t deserve the harsh treatment from Pei Shou Yi. That was definitely ass and Shi De just had to say “we’re only cousins’ to give the poor boy closure. That’s my only problems with this

And yes I’m aware that he kicked em both out, but that’s why I said back then Shi De had such little faith in Shou Yi, that’s why he was stupid for doing what he did.

It was pretty damn stupid, but it was more stupid in the sense that he didn’t have faith in Shou Yi and he thought he can make such an idiotic decision on his own. But, we all know that Shou Yi would 1. Be heart broken without his fathers approval. 2. He would most likely make their relationship a living hell. He thought what he was doing is right since he thought approval was what he really needed to be happy with him which isn’t the case. Cut him a little slack. At least he realizes he was such a moron for doing that

Ok so I wrote a big paragraph in the beginning on why I thought Shi De did what he thought was right and why I thought it was justifiable, but after what Shou Yi said that broke my heart. He didn’t consider him. He’s right. He should’ve went to him instead of believing his father. I’m definitely leaning towards Shou Yi right now, he didn’t deserve it and Shi De should’ve had more faith in him. He has a right to feel betrayed by both his father and lover. Shi De did an irreversible thing, so there’s no point in thinking his stupid now. The deed is done, but at least he knows he was WRONG and idiotic and he won’t make the same mistake.
Despite all of that, I’m glad everything is out in the open and we can see from the previews of the next episode that he will give him a chance. That’s great.
For the side couple I’m so drawn towards them. Their relationship is extremely intricate and beautiful. This pairing is so good. The fact that they barely had any screen time but I’m already in love with their relationship is so crazy to me. Some may think it’s weird but the fact that they are so different and from completely different worlds but they still compliment one another? Ugh it’s great. I can’t wait for next week. I hope the next episode will make up for this one, it wasn’t lacking in entertainment or acting it just felt short, hope the next won’t be like that. But I can say the interaction between Gao Shi De and Shou Yi’s father was pretty damn funny when they were standing outside xd
Not only is it cute and heart warming, but it’s unique. I was thinking to myself, “a dancer and a debt collector, huh?” They compliment one another, I’d say like Yin and Yang. I think its a beautiful story.
