Nothing is raining down on me. Lol, stop hallucinating. You’re entitled to your own opinion as am I. You can dive as deep as you want into character development and study the stars in the sky too while you’re at it. I’m just making a blunt statement on how her character in this show wasn’t my favorite and I personally liked her performance better in WRTW. Simple. Easy. Straight to the point.

If you consider my opinion of how her character was in one show vs. another a DISS then you are trippin 100%. I just did not care for her in that role and even though my opinion may be unpopular I’m sure some will agree.

No I don’t deem myself an excellent reviewer cause that would be stupid. 1st half was great towards the end. The first 10 episodes were like a soap opera of what was going on in their home. 2nd half was honestly a drag. They made the FL talk in a baby voice the entire show which was super annoying. I watched this after watching who rules the world, and her character in WRTW was way better than in LLTG. ML was great and his performance outshined the others. FL just really lacked in this one. They also made her pretty dumbfounded too in some episodes. I didn’t understand how she was left to “save the village” at the end, because she didn’t even have any weapons it just wasn’t believable. When the family showed up it kinda made more sense but still it was just not a good ending on this one at all. Could’ve been way better. 7/10 for me.

This drama is the BEST drama ever! My new #1! It’s a Kdrama, has cultivation, has funny scenes, romance, fighting, plot twists, EVERYTHING! This is the best show ever and I can’t wait for the next season. I hope they make multiple seasons of this show cause I’m obsessed!

First half was great. After that the whole thing fell way short, ending sucked. Hated the pipa obsessed girl also, very child like and agitating the whole show. Didn’t care for the side story of the older lady with the child that randomly pops back up in her life attacking her after finding out she’s with the teacher. 2nd leads in this one we’re absolute garbage. The only “2nd” leads I found to be okay were the youngest girl they brought into the click towards the middle of the show and the guy that worked with GQF. This show was a solid 7/10. The clothing was good and cinematography was good but the storyline was absolute trash after the first half.

This series was truly outstanding. The tension between the leads was perfect. Did I wish there was actually more confessed? Yes. Did I wish ML confessed his love to FL by saying “I love you” yes! That would’ve been the cherry on top for me. But I know his character was meant to have restraint. The tears tho as she exited back to the capital to get married for the second time was the part that really HAD me. That part was gripping because that was closest we got to an “I love you”. FL confessed her care through hugs and crying multiple times and I was waiting for that to happen to the ML. Overall the tragic end that’s to come is understandable and was still bitter sweet. How the ML died though was over the top and not good to me. Would’ve thought he would’ve fought harder towards the end but ultimately he gives himself up. I wish the ending was different 100%. It could’ve been a A++++ drama if the ending was different but today I’ll settle it with an A-.

Okay so just finished this drama. Don’t mean to be critical but I got to. The storyline was a little weak, but the character development was great. I didn’t like how the one main lead was sick the entire time, wasn’t a fan. The ending was to be expected. Could’ve had way more action and it definitely dragged really hard for a bunch of episodes. Homeboy was also so power hungry it hit like level maximillion. The way his face was twitching of hunger was entertaining tho. Guy mastered the psycho look. The soundtrack was great! I give it a cool 7.8. The fighting style was good too. Just the storyline lacked a lot of meaningful purpose that really had me focused. The whole rape portion of this series was 100% not needed either and that tainted my rating of the show. The director must’ve been like “insert rape clip here” cause after finishing the whole show there really was no need for that to even be in there.

Overall I wouldn’t rewatch it. It’s not on par with fight breaks sphere, ancient love poetry, the long ballad etc. ALSO, when the main characters … you know… Su, Bai, Dijing, I feel like the characters were so wasted, Lame endings.

It’s more visual in a sense that it was a prolonged center point for a cool 15 minutes. It was emotionally very tugging for someone who has been a victim. the added scenes of her in a bathtub crying while the other fl was crying was very visual on how hurt it makes you feel inside. It’s not visual in a sense of seeing sexual body parts, it’s more visual in the depiction of emotion that takes place when it happens. They also visually showed blood on the floor insinuating the rape took place. Definitely just wanted to warn others and put a trigger warning

Half way through the show and there should be a trigger warning for rape. As it’s actually pretty heart wrenching and more visual than in other shows. May be triggering for viewers who are victims.

Honestly this drama is so well written it is seamless, everything about it keeps your attention. The way they have the 3 men set up living different lives but everything intertwined by the end, is a masterpiece. Be prepared — though. This melodrama will rip your heart into pieces. Idk what it is about Korean dramas but they want to make it more realistic with war, meaning little to no one actually survives. By the end of the show you will be more sad than anything. It’s a great drama but unfortunately way too sad for me to want to ever watch again. The whirlpool of emotions with this one is sky high, but it’s definitely a great one. Just be prepared to cry a lot. I would say 80% of it is a sad story while 20% is actually happy. I actually hated the fact that all the main guy characters die literally in the last episode. I just didn’t think that was necessary.

100% power couple! Martial arts couple!

Absolutely outstanding! Moving on from this one is going to be so hard, the chemistry and story line was amazing… love the martial world couple. The pairing was absolutely perfect. They should’ve made this series like 60 episodes. Reminds me a lot of the long ballad. That one and this one are my favs. Ugh so sad it’s over.
