Overall disappointing. I really liked the cast but the story was too underdeveloped and the editing was all over the place. The cast did what they could with garbage.
Same. The actors have some chemistry but, and I say this for most vampire/human romance tbf, this 100s year old has no business being so attracted to this room temperature butter.
Even if there were no vampires involved, why are you going into a little girl's family's hotel room, a family you do not know??? Tong has absolutely no self-preservation despite having grown up being told constantly that they can't do anything without hurting themselves... this character needs to be hashed out a little bit better by the writers.
Agreed. There are still a lot of loose ends to tie up in just the last episode, and I have a feeling they are…
It's a bummer because I'm really enjoying the supernatural aspects and all the main characters are interesting, but it's like they didn't want to fully invest in this project.
I would prefer that they speak more english when the locals are around. Because for me it looks a bit weird that…
I had that thought too but I think some are maybe not that confident, plus remember it's edited so we're seeing only a fraction of what actually happened.
I continue to get eye twitches from the song catalog this show is using (a highlight in ep 5 is Martina McBride's "Independence Day" over aerial views of Lapland geography) but when the BBC Sherlock theme song started playing over them building a tent, I laughed so hard I choked. A+++
LOVED the first episode. I'm not familiar with these actors but they have great chemistry so it's fun to watch. I lived in Finland for a year and seeing their reactions to things reminds me of myself. The only issue I have is the music supervisor put zero effort into this - Irish hymns and Brooks & Dunn?? Finland has very rich music history and culture and to not use at least mostly Finnish music for this feels disrespectful.
Editing made things a little confusing, especially when you have no idea how Korean school is structured. Otherwise I loved this. Great acting and chemistry.
Absolutely amazing. I'm actually kind of bummed this is a Thai BL because it needs a much wider audience that it won't get. The production value and story telling were top notch, exceeding any expectations I have of the genre.
