The main issue I have with this is the pacing, I felt like it could have been 10-12 episodes. If you have your hand on the ff key it's not as bad. The kisses were great but the chemistry lacking... if they had gotten around to the end faster it definitely would have been rated higher, imo.
The main leads story kinda fell flat for me, it felt like the same old recycled supernatural story. I didn't really get the chemistry that others felt for the mains. The best draw of this drama is the wonderful supporting cast and side character stories. Totally made up for the flat main lead storyline. 8/10
The cast was amazing but the it felt like this was a like a bunch of other dramas mashed together.... it felt clique and while it did shine in -some- parts a lot of it was pretty lackluster.
How the ML was written in this ruined it for me. He basically did nothing for months and was sad when she didn't confess. Sad. I'd say watch the last 10-12 episodes and skip the beginning.
The beginning of this was a mess but it got better about mid to the last 6 episodes. I wish they had gotten to the point without the all the flare. The villains were so well written in this show especially the main male villain. Lack of romance between the leads and the fl was not a good pick imo, for over the top type comedic acting. They also made her seem really child-like until the end. I think she would have done the character more justice if it was just a regular k drama.
For some reason this drama had me intrigued but bored, bawling but annoyed.. It had great actors and a great story at parts but I don't know if it dragged too much or had too many side characters to keep it cohesive? I really want to love it because some parts are so damn good but the writer seemed to be trying to tackle too many things at once which really affected the overall story. :(
I liked this show but it felt like a low key Le Coupe De Foudre. The females dad being injured and her starting college a year later and the whole smart watch app thing...
I did really enjoy this with the exception of the abuse of the FL. If this was a ML doing the same thing to the FL then people would be screaming abuse- he has bruises multiple times and it's used for comedic effect. It's not funny and never will be. Otherwise, 8/10.
Yea, crazy stuff basically stopped by episode 9 (but that's like half of the episodes, not just a few), when the…
I think the breaking point for her revenge and even her feelings curbing is when she started to humanize him and realized that he was just a person like her. This show was amazing in how it talked about revenge- the different reasons and ways people deal with trauma. Where is the line and what hating someone can do to you. Very underrated, imo.
I think this was marketed incorrectly. It's a slight romance if anything and had it been marketed as a comedy/drama instead I think people would have rated this higher. I really enjoyed the chemistry of the cast, the acting and how the FL was not the typical stupid FL. It was a little too long but I think they wrapped it up really nicely.
I found this the couple to be cute at first but ultimately boring. The secondary couple saved it- although I missed the old cast, the cast change for Grunt to Wang An Yu really worked out imo in their favor. I ended up fast forwarding through the main romance and watching the surrounding characters instead. -fangirls- I LOVED the GGS1 cameo at the end.
I really enjoyed the first half but when it turned into a romance it was boring. I didn't enjoy the chemistry with the main leads, would have preferred to see Dan Ah with Jin Gyu, they had MUCH more chemistry.
For some reason I find Go Kyung Pyo to be meh in romances- Yes, even in Reply 1988.
It took me a couple of days to process this. The ML gets her drunk in order to sleep with her, despite her saying no to the alcohol.... that is rape. The FL saying yes, while drunk is not consent. There's being cruel and committing a crime. I just couldn't deal with the ML after that. Using the story to then make it okay because "he's a changed man" is just BS and we wonder why Women put up with abuse thinking Men will change...
Do u mean that it was a sad ending ? They didn’t get together again ?? Thanks
They do get together at the end but it seems forced and the show doesn't recover the happy or loving feeling. You might feel differently but that's how I felt. :)
