funny how a drama will literally have romance listed as a main genre from the beginning and yet there will be…
lol i mostly agree with you. there needed to be some sort of connection between bitna and daon for her to learn to feel human emotions and become a better judge. i was probably one of their biggest shippers from episode 1 to 8 and i was really intrigued how their romance would develop. unfortunately, while the romance did advance the theme, plot, and characters, i found the romance aspect itself lacking from episode 9 and onwards. after they get together, it seems like the story's definition of romance was quite shallow, and what use to be a very intriguing dynamic between the leads sizzled out into an unrealistic perfect romance. i feel like the judge from hell maybe should have taken the route sell your haunted house did, where while the leads did not get into an official romantic relationship, the leads did love each other in a sense and helped each other grow and develop
just wondering why do hak seong doesn't experience oh seong shik's ghost scaring him like the other characters do? especially if the ghost is tethered to him all the time.
"You're the only blemish in my life, my only weakness."It's peak it's peak....first of all im a little disappointed…
omg when i first watched the ep i loved it a lot bc i loved seeing justitia act as a proper judge and seeing the victims get closure. imo the pacing for the courtroom scenes was very good. but then a lot of comments felt the courtroom scenes were draggy so i felt alone with that opinion lmao.
also my bad but i cant bring myself to gaf about legal justice and the law when it comes to this case because…
idk even satan said to j himself that spending the rest of his life in prison will be a harsher punishment than death. have j suffer a long time in jail so that he suffers in life, dies horribly, and then suffers for a long time in hell too.
i also think the show is trying to convey that what the victims want matters the most. the villa owner wants answers from j, so legal justice is therefore necessary. maybe justitia will come back for j as he's nearing death to torture him lol.
think ppl are forgetting that og kang bitna was meant to be sent to fake hell, not murderer's hell (which justitia wrongly sent her to). so og kang bitna is dead dead and isn't coming back lol.
I am loving the conflict between Bitna who only focuses on punishing the sinners vs Daon who as a victim, prioritizes the victims having closure and justice. I am curious as to how the story will go so that somehow these two can work together.
I'm still mourning what the secretary and writer ship could have been 😭. I was willing to give the writer and CEO ship a chance but the CEO's power trip bugs me so much and the narrative doesn't punish/criticize it enough.
I also don't like how the CEO treats his secretary.
This show is tacky and cheesy as heck but it's also overflowing with joy and youthful innocence. Everything is so chaotic but sweet you can't help but smile and laugh.
Dubbing for me takes some time to get use to as when you watch an actor in different works, for a while it's like you hardly recognize them since their voice changed haha XD. Also when you watch an actor's interview it's like a whole new person too.
I will never get over the fact that Lee Do Hyun was casted as Hyuk, a hopeless comedic in the webtoon. But in the drama Hyuk is serious all the time even though Lee Do Hyun is so good with comedy. The potential... wasted :(
