I just wanna state one thing…
It’s about the poisonous mushrooms in the series… one with Jiangshi and one with snows and flower petals…

That’s all…

Okaay… so basically,, I made this recommendation because of the mushroom scene… I previously thought that those hallucinations won’t be as cute if you eat poisonous mushroom.. but some Chinese and Thai series proof me wrong.. ??

At this point, I just find myself looking at certain plot and find it familiar with some other series…
As for this one I would like to say that both of this series portray the ‘dependency of the leads’… one shown in form of ‘toxic’ way while the other shows it in ‘ironic way’…
The depth of the love shown by both lead couple were presented differently but still… in my opinion… the ‘vibes’ exist…

Well,,, I’m still in my second episode of Go Back Lovers but I believe it might goes along with Playful Kiss’s plot… especially,
- The co-habitation (parents influence)
- Hate to love (reverse tho)
- as for the remaining,,, you can find it as you watch it I guess…

I only have one single reason for this… two I guess?
- I find that the poisoned scene is way too cute and similar… just that different hallucinations they see… and the length of the extremes… one goes out… having a tour walking around while the other stay but gives a lot of reaction to it…
- As for the other things… let’s just say… the mixture of modern and historical set… one inside a game while the other one inside a novel… this plot is cute tho… ????????

No other reason besides the age gap trope actually…
But,, if I elaborate it a bit longer >>
- the younger male fell way too hard (at the first sight)
- it begins when both male lead are struggling (economically… physically… mentally??)
- the reunion of both leads
- the age gap but sparkling chemistry is… ????????
- that obsession… okay… nowadays I’m just way into younger male lead and older female lead I guess… ??

Hmmm… basically both are ‘cross dressing’ trope but,,,
- Roommate thingy…
- Second lead that founds out about FL’s identity first…
- again… please do add for the remaining

Technically, this won’t be anyone’s choice but I’d say…
- Both sacrifices for their twins and replace their position in the meantime
- Love blooms between the leads…
- please do add the remaining…

Well,, I thought the first recommendation that’ll exist here was this drama but… it’s not…

Let’s just say Cashero is the male version of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon… just that the concept of money works different here… the superpower things looks quite the same to me… especially the outfit… both tries to hide their identity… wearing a hoodie… interesting…

First of all,, both drama talks about the divorce and reunification… and… that’s all ???

Well,,, for those that have watch both series would know why… but… let me elaborate a bit… ROTQ and DAE are:
- Jie Jie and Di Di trope
- Vengeance of both family (hatred towards each other)
- Murder of the family
- Trauma
- Sweetness overload (despite all the cliche tragedy)

For the rest, please do find it on your own~~

First of all,,, I would say… Keyu and Xinhai looks soooooooooooooooooo similar in these drama… which leads me to watch both… but,, overall you can watch FBF and SB for:
- Older woman/Younger man trope
- Complicated relationship
- Sweetness overload
- Whipped man..
