6/10 Too much push and pull, I also thought the female lead changed but she didnt really (also, didn't know pigtails and glasses and basic clothes make you ugly and unrecognizable) and too many misunderstandings which got dragged until the last episode. You can't tell me they used 20 minutes of the last episode to finally clear up the misunderstanding after over 10 episodes! Hello? Where does this make sense? Then, after quickly clearing it up like nothing, they get married? We didn't even see the reactions of the family or how the relation between Anna, Dylan and Xiyi, Jiaxin turned out. Even the side story of Siqi and AnSon got rushed. The pair showed a good dynamic at the start, but then it got worse too. Overall I wouldn't really recommend it.
Forgot to mention: The Male Lead is a huge **** for two timing. He kept Anna around all those years and idek why. I was wondering why he didnt leave her. In the beginning I understood why, but dude should've just manned up. It was annoying to see him being so indecisive for more than half of the episodes.
It's a very small and independent studio.. they rely on people buying it to be able to make more content.
Yes ofc, I saw that and I really appreciate their efforts for producing it. As I said, one day I might watch it. For now I'd rather spend my money on living expenses :D
Hua Cheng is indeed a complex character. Is hard to find someone that looks "Mysterious", "Sexy", and "Soft."…
Ohhh Zitao, what an interesting choice. Especially since I've read a lot about his ex-groupmember Luhan in the comments! Whatever it is, I'm thrilled for this drama!

I completely agree with everything you've said! I think we all have very high expectations on this one xD However I am quite curious whom you have in mind for Hua CHeng's role, would you mind telling me? :D
After reading the comments I came to the conclusion it will be very difficult to find someone to play Hua Cheng. It will probably at least be as difficult as finding Yibo for playing Lan Zhan. Mxtx's male leads are such complex characters, I'm really looking forward to this!
It's been half a year since I've finished this. Half a year since I've read the novel and... I'm still not over it. I was desparately trying to find other another drama like this one but this is just incomparable with other dramas. Does anyone know good BL novels though, which are similar? I already know about Scum Villains Self Saving System and Heavens Official Blessing.
any head canons on what happened to wei wuxian during those three months in burial mounds?
I don't think it was ever mentioned in the drama or the novel. But I can only guess that the ghosts (?) in the burial mountains, who surrounded him as black clouds, started tainting his soul. But since he had contact with the Sword from the Underwater Monster, he probably started practicing the darker path of cultivation. I can only assume that falling down there won't always lead to death. To me it seems more like it either drives you insane until you die (what probably happened to anyone else) or you get highly influenced by the voices from those ghosts and all like Wuxian did, which ended with him sometimes losing control over his mind.
Last 3 episodes and my heart cant bear it any longer.. I badly want to watch this but the suspense is killing…
Yes, same here. I stopped after episode 5. I know it's such a good drama, but it's like very very very exciting to the point where I think Imma get a heart attack xD
This was actually a decent drama if they hadn't stopped right before war broke out. There was so much going on in the last two episodes but then it stopped. I'm very happy about the last scene of the ending though, which shows the marriage of the two male leads. However even here I'm a bit confused why all four characters have a single tear running down their faces. That kinda didn't make sense but the visuals all make up to it.
