She's BEAUTIFUL (remind me so much of LiuYifei!!) but honestly, I do not believe she was born in 1999. I'm not saying she looks old but she definitely looks at least 5 years older. Currently love her Fireworks drama, and her character is unique so it has me hooked. I had to look her up and saw her age and firmly believe she is lying about her age-- maybe it's her company, and I know lying about your age is very very common in the Asian (mainly Chinese) industry even though it has decreased over the years.
But of course I could be wrong and she just looks oldER for her age. lol just a thought. that I strongly believe in atm. hahaha

She's pretty and a decent actress idk what all the hate is for. Focus that negative energy elsewhere-- it's just mean.

I agree, Chinese actresses must have so much competition with their huge population and all that they have to constantly work on project after project to keep their popularity up. I honestly don't know how some actresses always have a new drama coming out-- and costume dramas which take FOREVER to film too!

Yes, I can see why some are frustrated with the FL but her character is not weak. She's timid and afraid to speak up against her family, but she still knows right from wrong-- she's just having trouble choosing between her heart with Song Yan and her heart with her family (which is totally understandable considering her childhood). Obviously she'll grow and be able to act upon her wishes, but idk why that deserves hate. We all love a good strong dominant female lead but that too is very common these days. Diversity is good and character development is even better. We can be sure to expect more of how she changes in the upcoming episodes.
On a side note, am I the only one who thinks FL is so beautiful? I've never seen her in a drama before, but she REALLY reminds me of LiuYifei (Mulan)! Her physical features as well as her voice (idk if it's her real voice/tone) really remind me of her.

So happy I experienced such happiness from each episode, even rewatching the clips and bts while waiting for new episodes. Although I feel a great sadness that it's over-- this happens every time a drama I like ends so I know I'll get over it, the journey was really truly amazing. From the release of the filming last year I've been so excited to see their chemistry and it seriously did not disappoint. The special episode really helped me see from a different perspective, and their relationship in real life is so sweet I really really really pray they have another project together. Hopefully, the success of this drama will have them cast in another one together ❤️
Now, as I change this from "currently watching" to "completed" I guess it's time for my own goodbyes... :'( The cast and crew really helped so many of us out with this project, giving us a little something to look forward to in our bland lives. I will always remember how I felt watching the episodes. Bye bye, for now...

She works her butt off. I don't know how all these cdrama actresses film so many long dramas at once, they have back to back releases it's crazy to me.
