About the rating of this drama: I see a lot of people seem confused. I had the same questions before, but a user…
Ranking vs Rating - There is a difference. Its a good explaination of the ranking process. Seriously it is. Though its more useful for the MDL members to have a better understanding of the entire rating process and in turn what they can do to ensure that at the end of a drama - during the typical haters rating wars - the drama itself has a chance at being rated 'correctly'. For reference, I left a comment earlier (2hrs ago), listing what MDL users can do to counter the ratings mess.
They have been working on it. Its obvious. Only their approach is making the matter worse. Its an absolute frustrating…
You are right - it is going to start coming down their reputation in terms of the low quality. They are making the mistake of trying to fix a deeply flawed system and throwing good money after bad vs building a new system the right way. Its both frustrating and sad. What would the alternative be though? I have to remind myself these days that I am here primarily because of the people and their outstanding opinions. Always finding something new in the drama that I could never even think of. Nevermind. I need food and sleep! Off I go. π
Dear MDL admins - you should rethink how people can rateβ¦ why should anyone be allowed to rate episodes that…

Thank you! I just said the same. Iβve seen so many times people go crazy and worried about the drama. Also it…
Me likey. Ready to try this method out next year. What happens when they change posters though? Seems to happen more often? Is it first poster only or the most 'attractive' poster?
Madame Jin is despicable just like her husband. She only killed him because they have been discovered. At least…
Yes, why do they try to make her sympathetic? Give her a balance out karma pass cause she helped others including 'hand man'? Wait, hot hand man is more correct. π
Ratings. Frustrating. Helps to understand that part of it is hate baiting, part of it is anti-fan craziness, and part of it is that the AI/algorithms pattern matching is set up like a ranking and rating gaming event each drama. Untill MDL gets their stuff together there are things that can be done (as most of us here on the board already know).
If it really bothers you try: a. rating each episode as it finishes airing b. rate the drama from day one (you can always adjust it down) c. keep your comment possitive (yes, they are crossed matched in the data capture system) d. reviewing/rating the drama sooner than you normally would (only if you are comfortable - you can also adjust it down) e. avoid, as much as you can, engaging with the 'baiters' it only helps their cause statistically not yours.
If it bothers you to the point of being annoying: a. skip it - let them hate/game/enjoy themselves. b. start a new comment thread countering their 'hate/addiction' c. take yourself off the drama thread for 5-8 hours - everything is brand new again. d. ignore it all and enjoy the drama - its not life and death right?
Note: Early an High - the sooner positive feedback is fed into the AI the more likely it is to win the ratings fight at the end of drama.
