I'm going to try and make a coherent comment but my mind is overwhelmed with how good this last two episodes are. Just about perfect.
Episode 22 started pretty normal, they found a way to clear Wen Xiao and, even when it seems they also got a way to save ZYZ, time were not on their side. And, suddenly, BOOM we got Li Lun back possesing ZYC in his way to kill ZYZ. I was soo happy with this plot twist because, yes, bring me my villain back! but episode 22 let me with a lot of questions that could be plot holes:
-I didn't understand the sundial bussiness and seems a cheap way to find a solution. -If ZYC was possesed by a demon, how the sword didn't glow when he took it? Li Lun demon energy sure will have woken the sword up the moment he touch it. -The scene in the library wasn't possible if he was possesed. How he took care of Wen Xiao was too personal for it being another person more so a demon who hates the goddess. -Li Lun's inner core got on ZYC just when he was about to die, and we didn't see it? weird.
But then episode 23 rolls around and said "Bitch, watch this, we're not about the plot hole bussiness" and we got the best episode in the story of episodes.
That it was Bai Jui the one possesed fit perfectly. Li Lun as the perfect villain i knew he was got his inner core on Bei Jui during the dream illusion he creates, that reason why we don't see it. And the fact that he was mostly acting normal it was because he could only control him during the night. He is also the perfect vessel for the type of demon Li Lun is.
The trick us pretty well: That Ao Quin got out wasn't because ZYC was the one possesed and let her go but probably because the dust that Bai Jiu created was altered and didn't work on the demon. That ZYZ keeps watching ZYC in place of Li Lun was probably because his own madness influenced by the malicious energy.
About the sundial, on episode 23 we got the first scene that i actually feel a little bit for the romance between the main leads, as we saw her endure those 300 years taking care of the plant. It was pretty beautiful and gives a big understanding of what she went through to save him.
Also the fights: Li Lun vs ZYC was epic and incredible intense, i don't think i even blink once. But, let's be honest here, i could watch ZYC vs ZYZ forever. THIS WAS PERFECT.
SPJ: "So, Li Lun could be alive?" yes, please, i want him back. When they used his BGM when ZYZ was loosing control i knew things were going to go sideways from this stupid villain (Wen Zhouyu is clearly not as charismatic as Li Lun).
SPJ still being the badass queen in the story of ever, avoiding the arrow and taking it to make her shoot, i worship only her 🙏🙏🙏.
The funny trio 😂😂😂 this was a nice little touch of comedy after all the angst.
I agree - every single one of them is so self righteous that they think it’s ok to harm ZYZ and do as they please…
if Bai Jiu was a demon, they will forgive him that easy? the answer is no, so really, how hard it was for him to get up and apologize to ZYZ? Yes, there is a possibility that he could cure what he done to ZYZ but still...say sorry!!!
ok, im up to date now and, i really love yesterday episodes (18 and 19) even when i was super sad to see Li Lun go. But today's episode... i knew Bai Jiu was going to have a motive for what he did but everything seems too easy. Everyone's forgive him even when he didn't actually said sorry to ZYZ (i'm super bitter about this). It is like no one is thinking about ZYZ being impaired of almost all of his senses specially since he had been saving everyone's ass (I know ZYC and SPJ defend themself perfectly i'm just pissed lol).

Yes, i think so. If i compared the present scene with the past one with the previous Goddess, in the past he seems more out of it, his eyes lost and moving on autopilot.
In the present one, he is tense and looking around, i feel he is fighting the malicious energy with all his power and will. That is why, at some point, he is able to ask to the mountain god to kill him.
I don't think he could have regain complete conscience all by himself, but he was trying.
i think “having the ability to choose” and “choices” is the overall theme of the drama! all the demons…
You're right Zhao Yuan can't choose right now, malicious energy is going to go to him whether he wanted it or not. And still he did everything in his hands to avoid hurting anyone. In a way, he try to choose and choose the path of less harm. wow this is so sad 😭😭😭

ohhh that is a great point you make about the Baize token. It all started in an attempt to united both races but, in the end, the humans were the ones deciding the future of the demons. Li Lun is right when he asked the former Goddess "Who are you to decide the fate of demons?". Also, at that point, the token was not divided between demon and human it was all on the human. So this is telling us that humans are the ones who mess everything up in the end (Even when some demons did bad things for sure).
The question I have after all this heartbreak is , the scene where ZYZ used his magic to make ZYC dream instead…
I think that ZYZ is trying to regain control all the time and there is points he gets to it: all the time he spend in that cage i don't really believe was all the mountains gods doing specially as Ying Lei is not that powerful, when he ask the mountain god to kill him and also this moment you talk about, he don't want to kill him so he put him to sleep. But it is just what i feel happened.
He cares about them, they're his friends, so this is probably the first time he fight harder for control (With the previous Baize Godness i think his feelings for Li Lun makes him more troubled and more unable to control it)
Hello angst!!! I actually was grateful for that little bit of humor at almost the end of episode 17 with Jiu and Zhuo because both episodes were hard. The fights in this drama don't stop being gorgeous and that, couple with a better understanding from my part of the main plot, makes this episodes the best to date.
Are demons intrinsically bad? i think that is what the drama is trying to ask and show us. Zhao Yuan did everything in his power to avoid killing anyone when he knew he was going to lose control (This makes me wonder what he actually did other times, did he lock himself up somewhere? He said he did this after the blood moon but i guess during too). He try to recover control at all points in the scene only being succesful in asking the mountain god to kill him. He wants to die to stop killing people.
Wen Xiao and Zhuo Yi Chen are able to see the reality of the situation: They understand that Zhao Yuan is powerless about the malicious energy but they also lost their master and family. So, it is an impossible situation for them but i really like how they reacted.
Zhao Yuan is the same as Fei: Fei was a plague and couldn't avoid being deadly just being around as much as Zhao Yuan is a vessel and can't help the malicious energy going to him. If they were able to understand Fei, they need to understand Zhao Yuan even when it is more personal.
Even Li Lun didn't started as a bad guy: Part of me feels that he was sad an pissed off that his friend (Zhao Yuan) didn't wanted to stay with him in the Wilderness and love the mortal world so much. And he went to the evil path. But this was a choice. As the mountain god said: "Mostly all the demons in the Wilderness just wants to have a choice". And this is it. Choices is what makes us good or evil in the end.
Finally up to date with the episodes and this one still going pretty nice. If i think about the story pretty hard it is just...there. Mostly in all this episodes we see parallels of what could happen to our main couple represented by other demons and humans (Rang Yi and Miss Qi, Cheng Huang and Shen nv, Fei and Quing Geng being the last ones both demons the only difference). There is also an interesting parallel in this last episode between Zhu Yin and Si Miao that could be applied more to Zhao Yuan Zhou and Zhuo Yi Chen. Soo it hints at a sad ending but still long ways to go.
The visuals keeps being completely amazing, the sword dance they did in this last episodes was just *chef's kiss*. Also is like they were asked "How many beautiful men do you want?" and the answer was "Yes". Good god.
This last episodes also resolved some of my doubts like how Zhao Yuan didn't know he had the baize token inside himself and if actually Zhuo Yi have romantic feelings for Wen Xiao (Seems he actually have them but it is not in his nature to be too forward about it).
The humor keeps working on me and it still keeps me entertaining so all good ;).
ahhh this was super cute!!!! The relationship between Ming han and Mao Mao is fantastic and is super sad they really didn't meet before. Mao Mao shows Ming Han to be more tolerant and Ming Han helped him to move on. It was hilarious watching them together, I love it.
The plot was good too and I didn't expect thr twist with the coworker being the mole, that was nicely done.
maybe the part I liked less is the end because it is too abrupt but nothing awful really.
will I recommend it? for sure. Fun and light movie for a chilling time at home 🥰🥰🥰🥰
This one have a lot of problems but the main one that makes it not that enjoyable is the fact that, even being different stories in all the episodes, mostly all of them were the same plot, ghosts. Sister, mother, grandmother all ghosts. So gets tiresome after some point.
The low cost is obvious and the acting is not very good. It doesn't really gets scary for me? more funny because everything is badly done. Some stories also are not really well explained (or I'm too dense, that could be too 😅😅😅).
In positives, I will said that episode 3 was pretty well done and engaging and episode 5 was funny but I like the bold FL.

Watched the first 5 episodes and, for now, very nice:
-The visuals are stunning, i can't get over the wigs specially: Zhao Yuan is super long with that white streak in the center and Zhuo Yin Chen have something on the side of his forehead that seems to match the glow of the sword and still not sure if it is a headband going all over the hair or just those two points. Still gorgeous.
-I love me some demon ML because that means angst at some point. Still i'm enjoying this previous "fun" banter between them not over the top for me.
-There is a lot to explore: The godess seal, why the ML is doing what he is doing, what is different in Zhue Yin Chen compared to his brother. Also the demon bureau will give us an interesting point of the different demons that exist in this world.
-Related to the last point we got the first one Rian Yi. Episode 5 was great in telling us his perspective of things and how demons are not intrinsically bad. Lots of things he said to Zhue Yin were pretty true: Humans are hypocrites who think only them can support each other and kill each other but demons are held on a lower standar. Yes, he lost all the reason because he killed too many innocent people and, in the end, Zhue Yin is right here and he needs to be detained but not everything he said and did was wrong or evil. And i feel this topic will be a pretty common theme for all the drama. Who is exactly the bad ones, the evil ones, humans of demons? I really love this kind of storylines.
-We also got what i believe is the actual villain in the story (More or less), Li Lun. Jesus, what a charismatic villain and what a great counterpoint to our ML. Seems they are the same but not really. And yes, he is ridiculously hot, there is no way to deny it.
-I love Pei Si Jing because i always love badass femeale characters (There is two on this other drama i'm watching, "kill me, love me" and yeah fantastic). I really hope she keeps being badass till the end.
