In general, it was a good drama. The angst is there all the time so the short number of episodes was perfect (I like some angst but for something longer, i will need some happiness too). Super realistic in its portrayal on how relationships don't survive only with love and how we needs to balance each other expectations and lives to make it work. The performances were amazing (I love Lee Se Young, is the second drama i see her in and she is amazing) and the mix of korean and japanese was pretty well done.
Will i recommend it? Yes, but is a melodrama in all the episodes so mostly for those people who really want sadness and angst.
-Jack: seriously my man. one thing is being naivr and another is being full on stupid. your grandma was ok, she takes boss's medication, she falls sick... why can you see this is all his doing??? also you didn't need to be this nasty and cruel. telling Rose that joke was "a homeless guy clinking to your grandma" was so unnecessary. If i were Joke I will never forgive you because you don't deserve it. Coward. Dumb and Coward.
-Save: this rat. This lying rat. "I feel so bad for ruining Jack's life and getting his grandmother sick but I have to protect my thug boyfriend, the one that choose this work voluntarily and also loves beating people"... what???? absolutely trash.
-Boss: omg what a stupid ass punk! and we believed for a while he was the big villain π€£π€£π€£π€£. He is nothing. Treating others below him as bad as he is treated by the ones in top of him. I even enjoyed when the horsemen laughed at him. Pitiful.
That scene with the big families playing "monopoly" was a great one in showing us the differences between classes and how the wealthy prey and play with the common people without anyone batting an eye. It was super powerful in it message.
The scene with Joke and grandma makes me cry. I really just want Joke to go and start stealing for this people again. Jack doesn't deserve him and doesn't keep their promises to each other. it is heartbreaking.
good God, this episode give me all the feelings, I love this drama.

I didn't really understand the proposal since they were already looking for dresses and she was already planning? seems he didn't actually purpose before but it was like obvious?? i don't know but still, i'm glad she break up with him because she didn't really love him and it is not fair.
Still Min Jun have no bussiness talking to Jungo that way. She is the fiance not him and he can't ask Jungo for anything. This is a big no-no.
The break up scene with Jungo was heartbreaking, how in her pain she stop speaking japanese to speak korean. Lee Se Young is such a great actress, i love her.
Just one episode left and i don't really think this is going to have a happy ending π’π’π’
I can't take Joke sad face in the preview after how good they were this one. That English book scene was everything. That twist to the "childhood friends" trope. and omg the tension I was like "PLEASE JUST KISS ALREADY!!!". the little kids are me shipping them ππππ.
I don't have much faith but I really hope Rose won't be super annoying and possesive for a long time because, girl, you don't have anything to do here.
Seems the Arun/Tattoo pairing is actually going to happen lol.
Ok, Jungo have a very big communication problem. First he, for some reason, isn't able to explain to her the difference between a japanese wedding and a korean one and later, even when i understand he have to take the job because it was actually the job he was waiting for, he didn't even write her a message to tell her. Like "i'm sorry, i can't go because of this, i'm really, really sorry". He can't expect anyone to put up with that all the time.
And the end... Min Jun going to Jungo is not going to fix anything. It really doesn't matter how Jungo feels, for his future marriage he needs to talk to Choi Hong, because she is actually the one with doubts about everything. Min Jun seems to belive that, if he is not around, everything will be fixed, and that is not true.
So it seems both men in Hong's life have the same problem of not communicating with her.
I watched "the untamed" on august and still not over it lol. it is really a masterpiece β₯β₯β₯
Still, tattoo is getting on my nerves. Another time almost messing everything up. It is getting annoying, Joke really is too nice.
also Rose looks like problems, I don't like her for now.
aww but Jack listening to who is Joke's type, what a cutie ππππ. the tension between them this episode was π₯π₯π₯

-At the start Mi Eun seems like an interesting and different character but they ruined her completely with that end that basically was "polyamory is bad and we all need to be monogamous". Don't try to be "modern" including different sexualities but then shit on them.
- the murderer plot was incredibly boring and I don't even care for father Andrea or his crazy twin brother. It was pointless.
- So Jin mom have cancer, and suddenly she remembers that she have two daughters who she neglected all their lives? and they actually hug her and everything is ok? why shitty parents always are forgiven? I can't with this anymore ( it happens also on "bad memory eraser" and "no gain, no love").
- I hate the "we got together 5 minutes before ending" but also it got super anticlimactic because why Yen Woo isn't going to his friend's wedding? why he keeps sending those postcards but not texting her? why she didn't text him? they have so much chemistry during all the drama and that seems to be gone in this last episode.
I'm just so very sad about all this π₯²π₯²π₯²π₯².
I will recommend it? right now, no. It was amazing till episode 13 I think but then everything went down. I actually throught this was going to be a 9 for me but well.
-Mo Eum actually went to the south pole, i throught they were going to make her stay but it was pretty nice and fitting for the character that she went. I like it.
-Posponing the Main Leads wedding, yes, thank you. It was ridiculous that he already propose when they just started dating but also more ridiculous that they pretent to get married in months. So the idea of leave it for the future to a point where things are more settle was great. And it was super nice that Seung Hyo's parents renew their vows, that was cute.
-I actually cry when Seok Ryo read that user message, it was pretty touching. Also i really found her super cute this episode, everytime she saw Seung Hyo she was so happy, what a cutie β₯β₯β₯
In general, this was not for me. Things started pretty well but got super dramatic at some point and, later, all that drama was left for nothing.
The main leads got chemistry but he was a red flag at some points being extremely selfish and me-me-me. The second leads were promising but i feel their relationship didn't developed well. After they got together, i didn't feel any atracction between them, it was just about the kid, all the time. They barely got a date together. Is like they pass to strangers from neighbours to old married couple withouth the romance and dating in between.
Also the duration of the episodes was not it. There is very few dramas that needs 1:30 h of running time tbh.
Will i recommend it? Nop, sorry. It is just too long for what it wants to tell us.
