THE END OF EP 25. I kinda hate that he didn't reveal who he was yet. I was curious how the punishment would play out. I mean he could *not* have her punished without her knowing who he is and without anyone giving her a class. I hope they tell her the actual military rules after this lol. She is smart but the military do play different rules.
Enjoying drama ..but up to episode 16 ..does anyone think it was purposely to be dramatic the main lead leaving?…
I perceived it as unconfident in love. She has been mentally ready for him to leave since the day they agreed to "fake marry" but she is too shy about asking him to stay for her properly. Then for him, we already know he is "mean and domineering" but she has brought out the softy in him. He could ask her to come, but that would be asking her to live on the frontlines which he doesn't want to do. So, instead of being vulnerable and asking the other to say/come *properly* they go on the offensive hedgehog mode.
I have mixed feelings about this drama. Every decision Su Cheng Cheng takes to hide her secret from Tang Qi is…
haha i feel this! i think *killing* the two of the three was overkill. i was like you couldnt just say you were moving to america, say bye and then turn off your number?
I completely fell in love with their chemistry. I honestly can’t believe how much I liked the chemistry between…
I agree with you about Si Ling’s resentment! It was 1000% justified but when she finds out the truth and tells his comatose body "this doesn't mean I forgive you," I had to roll my eyes. This man has only ever loved her, never *truly nor intentionally* harmed her, his biggest flaw was his inability to communicate for real which is why I think even though his childlike behavior when his spiritual core was damaged was cliche, it worked well in helping them cross that bridge of him communicating and her realizing that he has always been made to be guarded in a way she was not so while he was wrong to lie to her back then, he wasn't entirely to blame either.
the ending is why it dropped. how could they fumble such a good story line with 3 mega strong demons dead, the…
Haha true but I feel like the first time travel just barely made sense without over complicating it — the second and the third one kind of ruined the logic of the first time travel, and thus really complicate the storyline
Why the ratings droped I think Houminghao s haters are more powerful than fans not 8.6 but 8 just 8 ridiculous…
the ending is why it dropped. how could they fumble such a good story line with 3 mega strong demons dead, the ML locked away with a mirror, and the FL's time travel logic no longer making sense
DNF'd. I REALLY love Ryan Ding's acting but idk why the shows he ends up in rarely gain my attention. I made it to episode 9 and the show is NOT horrible, but its tone is a lot more intense and serious than I wanted (as compared to other espionage historical romances that I love). As with what most people are saying, 40 episodes was probably 5 too many as I am basically 20% in and there's just a lot of people and characters to keep track of outside the main leads.
I read a spoiler somewhere that Ryan kinda gets less screen time mid-way but already he's not in the show as much as you would expect of a male lead. What a waste because I could watch his acting for hours.
So it's not "just a dream" plot nor a "fell into a book" plot. He is cast from his realm into…
If its bittersweet I'll have to pass LOL Also, I understood it's "two worlds", I just meant can they have a HEA if they end up in their respective worlds again like with dream and book plots, but I appreciate the clarification & insight!
In episode 17, I'm very disappointed by the way they portray Africa. For god'sake it's not a hotbed of disease!…
yeah that dinged the show for me a lot, at least pick one country and then stick to the biggest issue in that country rather than make the whole continent seem like a death trap. very racist tbh.
I am wary of "just a dream" plots and "fell into a book" plot because that premise undoes the whole story. Wanted to ask if this show with the two worlds has a legit HEA?
I need more of Ding Yuxi in fantasy dramas 😭😭 he’s so cute
He looks sooooo good in historical/fantasy shows. I tried to watch Moonlight and I really love him but his ~look~ just doesn't hit the same as in this and Melody of Golden Age....
I would lean towards no, but there is a woman that comes into the picture near the end that was a classmate of the ML but less triangle and more drama lol
Anyway the reason why she was a hypocrite is that in the second half of their relationship she insisted that ML…
hmm i didn't see it as hypocritical because being a lawyer isn't always about winning the case in court, out-of court settlements can be considered a win too. iirc she also didn't *beg* him, she asked because she is doing it for the person she is representing who loved her husband while the ML is representing the mother who thinks her DIL was a gold digger (which in the end is proven to not be the case).
I read a spoiler somewhere that Ryan kinda gets less screen time mid-way but already he's not in the show as much as you would expect of a male lead. What a waste because I could watch his acting for hours.
