nonspoiler version: i think those who have watched would have divide the series into two parts. first part the…
the 2 parts are - when shen jia wen is revealed as the killer and when chen he ping is revealed as the mastermind.
during the 2nd part when it's ML vs CHP, i feel like the pacing gets really slow with a lot of emotional scene. ML was cold and direct in the beginning of the series and all of the sudden, he's warm and sensitive towards the end. i think there's a lot of unnecessary scene like the main female anchor and her son. in the end her son was not significant at all.
i would enjoy if the series did not spoil whos the culprit so early on and kept us guessing longer. the prison guy tian chun yi not revealing the truth because he was blackmail and the committed suicide plot was stupid tbh.
i think those who have watched would have divide the series into two parts. first part the pacing is fast and there's a lot of action/investigation going on. second part it's a bit draggy with lots of emotional scene.
i enjoyed the series and its definitely one of the better serial killer thrillers. however, the series is a slow burn and gets you frustrated in some scene.
I know I'm almost 6 years too late but I hope someone sees this and give me an answer. I will reward promise!
Who's that Representative Jin Sook who saved YJY? One moment she's opening a sushi restaurant and next she's like the queen of the gangster. Why is she keeping YJY with her not allowing her to leave?
I cant stand the female lead for insisting to leave her husband even at the later stage, for the 'greater good' when her husband is flipping everyone off trying to get her back.
Drama deserve higher scores but I cant get over these weak plot holes.
Ratings seems so high for this series but I think I belong to the minority who was left disappointed by this drama. Too much 'morally good' message and you kinda figure the plot out in EP5-6. I thought this was a whodunit thriller.
I can see why some rated this movie 9-10/10 but just not my cup of tea.
10/10 for me! One of the best kdrama I've watched. 3 years too late lol.
Shout out to Professor Cha and his family in this drama. Each time the story get intense and dark, we get a break and breather on Professor Cha story arc. Absolutely hilarious. His wife, Seung Hye is the best character in the drama.
I'm watching Missing: TOS right now at EP. 9 and I cant help to voice some of my thoughts on this drama. The drama is nice but I just feel mislead by the poster and the premise of it. It seems like it's a dark mystery suspense kinda drama from the outer look but its nothing like that. It's light with some comedic scene but mostly touching and kinda sad. The spirits are not scary at all.
And my biggest pet peeve of this drama is if everyone communicate with each other, the whole thing will finish in 4 episodes. Here's some example (SPOILERS AHEAD):
1. Wook saw the girl (Yeo Na) was kidnapped by the thugs and he failed to mention this to the police until several episodes later for no reason. He did not know she was the policeman fiance and not sure why he did not report this to the police. Saving grace is at least when he reveal it, the policeman did ask why didn't he inform him about this earlier.
2. Policeman Shin fail to inform or report his fiance disappearance to his colleague and only did it after a few days have passed. And they are getting married soon. Seriously?
3. Wook and his mother recognized each other and chose not to ask each other about their identity yet go around asking people around them when they are basically just right next to each other. I swear I'm gonna be so mad if one of them disappear or die without them acknowledging each other.
4. After 9 episodes in a 12-eps drama, main FL (Sohee) still doesnt know what's happening because no one told her anything.
5. The ahjussi, Jang chose not to share his missing daughter case with Wook and Jongah even when he knew they are expert in finding missing people using technology which is obsolete to him. He rather use the old fashion way of distributing flyers to random passerby.
I'm still enjoying the drama but its ridiculous this whole 'not communicating with each other' are so obvious in this drama. Love to hear what other think about this.
More of a heartwarming with a tinge of supernatural. There's nothing thrilling about this drama but its warm and touching. Also not so much of a mystery. Dont get me wrong, it's a good drama but just the tag is misleading haha.
