this is why I never wanted to go on cruise vacations, boring! But on serious side they cut on two epic fights:…
You will just entertained for like two days and get bored. Most time you will just spend your time gaze on the ocean and hope something to happen. If you are work at cruise, it become more excruciating boring. To the point, a passangers with antic behaviour become source of entertainment.
after watching up to ep 12, i believe this is not pure wuxia, but i dont know if this is Xuanhuan or Xianxia,…
It is mix of everything but the base is Wuxia. Usually Xianxia story go beyond dead , spirits are rebirth or reincarnated. But seems in this drama, it will not go that far. It does have some superpower spell but dead is the end of everything.
Yes, most of them shave their hair off for monk/bald characters. And also for dramas where they have the Qing…
European hairstyle also equally ugly if not worse. They wore a white curly wigs , the purpose of it to hide common baldness and hair patch cause by poor hygiene back than. Qing Dynasty hairstyle at least had purpose, front bald make it easy to wear war helmet or ceremonial hat.
The problem with this drama is all the deleted scenes. Taking out crucial scenes messes with the continuity of…
So many new rules created during filming and production. The most notable is cut out length of episodes and no foreign japanese costumes/elements on historical drama. They need cut out scenes to fit into under 40 episodes. So many company try to do loophole by cut a drama into two parts. But either it is harder acquire a license for part two or just too much work to acquire license for part two. I think whatever reason, they decided just cramp everything into just 36 ep.
I have been noticing and hearing, they seem to be doing that more frequently lately. I watched the modern drama…
My guess they want historical become more manly. Wuxia and historical used to have less or no romance at all. Wuxia was man centric genre, people beat each other. But now people just busy shipping cp on Wuxia.
The recent two episodes have me lost. What is the storyline there or what purpose do they serve
In nutshell : - Lei Wu Jie wanted to go Xueyue city to prove himself as martial artist. - Xiao Se wanted to Xueyue city to regain his past glory. - Tang Lian wanted to deliver the golden coffin for his clan. - Wuxin apparently inside the golden coffin, he is overpower monk and everyone wanted his power.
So far their objectives tied to the golden coffin and Wuxin is inside the coffin. Everything go from here and story will evolve. The rest of minor characters came and go, they have their own intention. Either searching for a coffin or just helping friends, they usually tell their intention when they appear.
It is pretty good indeed. Douluo Continent is not the only bad adaptation out there. Fight Break Sphere is also…
If you are not familiar with source material, Doulo continent and Fight Break Sphere are pretty good. But yeah, I don't get it why they just don't follow source material. Easier that way instead try think new story.
But sadly so far her story is cringe love story with Xiao Se.
That is just my guess.
