Cdrama do not makes much money on global market. They still depends on local market so that just your wishful thinking. Global market is just for extra appetizer.

Ok I am finished. I marathon it. Fu Shou secretly live is such cheese twist, I'd rather they following history a little bit. First Half is great but second half I really don't like it especially with forced happy ending. Sima Yi storyline just messy and do not makes sense on some part. They force Sima Yi and Emperor Xian have a tie and they need to fill a hole and it not always good nor logical. I feel Sima Yi also useless most of time. It is 7/10 from me. I don't really like it but also don't hate it.

Historical wise Too many departure and inaccurate events. Diao Chan just make rolling my eyes like seriously?? I think the story will not make any difference even if she do not exist. Why include her in the story unless for fan service??

Found it randomly on YT. I am big fan of ROTK so I decided to watch it.

Not finished yet but overall pretty good with engaging plot and great acting. So many subplot completely fictional but at least it's work and consistent. Chemistry of main couple is really great eventhough it is not romance drama.

Also it is one of the best Cao Cao potrayal IMO.

ALON is really good even with cut duration. TBH I just expect at least a good xianxia with engaging storytelling and great cast if this aired.

Western have really different idea about homosexual on their movies/tv series. On western, homosexual stuff is for gay man for empowering or telling a reality how being homosexual is frowned upon. HK so westernized so they share similar value and view.

But on Eastern, homosexual is meant for woman not for man. So homosexual insanely glamourized and romanticized.

HK never have any gay dramas or movies since forever even b4 China took over. Taiwan BL dramas are so underground and low quality no worth mentioned.

Taiwan and HK way more conservative than mainland. Sure there are no rule against danmei there but because how conservative they are, chance of happening also super slim. I am a millennial that growth with HK dramas and films, homosexual always been frowned upon.
