So far what I like about LTTG is they put tragedy and romance masterfully together. It is nature of the world, dead and love are intertwined. Dead is bitter pill that make love sweeter and we appreciate life more.

Probably it is me but CGI and editing of mortal arc is much better than Heaven arc. I think they filmed mortal arc 1st and it much more polished.

YD and YM just have maternal relationship. When on Heaven arc, YD act a mother. When mortal arc, YM act as a father. I hope it is do not change much and turn YM into obsessive SML. That will be annoying.

I think It is intended. Yu Mo never mean to become love rival that try snitch away YD. He supposed to be supporting character that take care YD, he is more like fatherly figure for YD. Even though he is longing for YD but her happiness is the most important for him. It is told multiple times.

I notice the best quality of Yu Mo is he is kind to everyone not just YD.

Also subplot of Zhao Lan simply foreshadow his romance fate.
