Second part of Dune part 2 was rushed. They cut so many Emperor and his daughter story. They also cut entire The Spacing Guild presence, they shown them briefly in Dune part1 and never again. Guild Navigator never been shown at all. Lot of things in Dune never been explaining in the movie, Jihad , Mentat etc. They just hope people read the book to fills a hole.

Dune is amazing but book is better which is my point as well. They skip quite lot of technology and subplot in the movie. In some part, Dune feels rushed as well.

Also they just adapted two book out of six books of Dune. So I skeptical they can adapting everything which make book always superior for telling a story.

Hollywood have no restriction. But fantasy novel adaptation always dumpster fire. With some exception LOTR or Harry Potter but even that people still think book is better. Other lackluster such Eragon, Percy Jackson or The Dark Tower are not worth mentioning.

Hollywood have all money and all but they rarely get it right. When they somehow get it right, they unable to commit and cancel it. They cancelled shadow and bone and lot of other series. Which makes me appreciate Cdrama format to filming entire thing and airing it at once. You don't need wasting time waiting another season and just to have show cancelled.

Carriage is props, it is empty and light. When they need to shoot inside carriage, it is actually just small box in some studio with staff shaking it on the outside it to emulate motion. They just shoot the actors entering the carriage but they don't actually shoot entire thing inside it.

Also horse carriage scene usually just B roll that reused multiple times on different dramas, hence explain lack of identity on the design.

Joy of Life is pinnacle of transmigration/isekai. There is nothing top it, great and smart writing with cool characters. GotD director knew it every well, they need to become something else to stand out. GTOD was light hearted and do not took it seriously. Fun watch if you are in mood.
