Final arc storyline kind complicated, it went from simple romance to time travel saving world. After all It is Xianxia, I am expect something crazy at the end and it is not disappointed. But I understand the message of the story. Past regret need to be kill so you can walk again without regret. Love is force that can defy fate/destiny.

I don't know why people expect simple ending such having kid or marriage at the end of Xianxia. If you wanted those kind of romance, just go watch historical , palace drama or modern drama.

Kris Wu had rape scandal and this drama unable to airing. They need replace ML with reshoot and AI replacement face.

I think because long duration drama not doing well lately. Microdrama make lot of money with short duration and took huge portion of audience. Hence why they probably wanted to shortening duration, the trend already shift. People do not have time watching long drama anymore.

Yes, she is so mature and more slender in Flourished Peony. YZ looks chubbier in this drama like when she was in Ashes of Love.

It is Xianxia, technically it is fantasy drama not Wuxia. For beginner, it can be quite confusing. You need to be familiar with so many words you probably never heard. Just think it as Greek mythology , you need somehow familiar with world building and lore.

But in Chinese mythology, Reincarnation took a huge part. People or Gods can be reincarnated into another form, that alone can be confusing. If you wanted to challenge yourself, go for it.
