But mom sucks. Most of time she just pestering spineless dad and do not contribute to overall plot. No one wanted to watch slice of life of toxic mom.

I am Yang Zi stan but I can't finish this drama. I really don't get what director and scriptwriters thinking have toxic mom become center of the drama. It is such extremely bizarre choice of writing. Cheng Huan's mom should be antagonist instead because she shown such characteristic of selfish, do not respect her own husband or her kids and controlling freak.

I am okay if the mom have less screen time but she appears way too damn much and provide zero entertainment or moral lesson.

Storyline itself extremely repetitive , Renfeng already doing same things for like 4-5 times. He fight against THH or YueChu, he get beaten and Repeat like forever. They wanted to get YueChu's blood is so tiredsome.

Master Spirit Kingdom should be changes of pace but Renfeng just literally doing same thing again. Ep 12-13 was nice change of pace but bullshit Renfeng coming again. I just cringed whenever see Renfeng, just make it stop already. Fight between Renfeng and THH also always ended same with them waving some magic particles. No creative magic or whatsoever. Than YueChu forgive Renfeng, I start facepalm myself really hard because I know he will coming again.

Writing is mediocre but choppy editing makes it worse by tenfold.

I agree that editing is so crappy to the point so disorienting. It is such basic film making but they fails.

My guess that it is. Because THH protected and searching for him since beginning. Remember she is the one looking for YueChu. Probably I can be wrong, just my theory.

My guess Dongfang Luo reincarnated into Dongfang YueChu. Just my guess. Because core story of Fox Matchmaker is people finding love again through cycle of reincarnation. In Donghua, YueChu reincarnate into different characters multiple times.

Yeah , they are like introduced so many things without build up . Hence why people think it was boring or bland.

Current pace is good. I forgive earlier chaotic pace and editing.

So far it is slow burn romance, THH is boss girl that too proud to admit her own feeling.

People that have extreme spectrum can be irritating. People that have irrational like or dislike bashing other people that doing opposite of their.

Last two episodes are kinda cool.

They are growth differently. Usually plants or flowers spirits growth way slower.

Yiqi Alliance is Human alliance union. Spirit do not have that kind of thing, they are less unite compare human and currently Honghong wanted establish same thing.

It is decent watch but story is kinda loose. They repeating same things too much.

Renfeng wanted to take Yuechu blood and Honghong saved him. Repeat like 3x-4x times

It is call The Volume. Like you said it is huge LED screen on the background , currently used as well by Star Wars or Marvel.

While technology provide realistic lightning but it is unforgiving technique and have many limitation. It is just cool for static scene. If you make mistake, editing will be costly. Not many film studio using it. Antman 3 used it but they need to do some reshoot, it cost them another 50 million to redo the CGI.
