La Pluie's lack of well-thought-out story, outside the vague hearing loss gimmick, is its undoing. An underdeveloped…
Asking out of curiosity cause I don't really know how to express what I find particularly wrong with shows like this, what would you have done different?
I like that a lot of people say this is a light rom com. I thought so too at first but they keep building scenarios that don't look like they will end well. Like Gu won's sister is basically an old ass bully. Its so frustrating seeing her on screen. What's worse is how he keeps acting like a table when he is around her and yet he isnt like that elsewhere. I see where he is coming from but honestly it just makes me frustrated . FL's best friend's husband may be cheating on her and not to mention the in laws. The way all three of the women are treated by their 'sunbaenims' is devastating to watch(for me at least). The weighing thing threw me for a loop especially considering their weights were the average for primary school kids where I am from. I just feel like I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. I do love Lee Jun Ho's actung though. You can tell he is believed to be good at comedy since he is the only one actually funny in the show๐ I just might watch the Good Manager because of this.
That nirse's lipstick gave me a jumpscare๐๐ And also all love to Phatit, but why does he always look like that? He has one facial expression which doesn't flatter him at all. His face always looks the same in moments of happiness, sadness, confusion even the sexy times.
I do accept that I get tired of the whole "misunderstood chaebol and fiery FL" plot (it gets kinda repetitive if its everywhere) but a classic trope is that for a reason and so I am still watching this. Also credit where its due and all that - the ML actor is doing a fantastic job. It seems like his personality has made an entire shift from the first two episodes though๐. But if I am to reference WWWSK, the cold hearted boss is usually just a ball of awkward and funny moments so they are on track at least. I do like that he fell for her first( although this also does happen almost ALL the time). However, maybe its my poor eyesight but the shots are just too much for me too handle. There are the prolonged visual scenes( I have decided to call them that), those I have gotten used to, but it still seems too showy. I do get that its the concept though๐...not to be self deprecating but I do fall under the population that hasn't seen such views and gigantic skyscrapers, so maybe that could also be the problem.
Ah...the nostalgia of seeing subway in a kdrama again. Never thought I would miss it to be honest. And also Shin Hye Sun has power in her eyes, I lowkey feel in love with her when she was adoringly looking at her sister. Not me bawling my eyes out at the last seen only for it to end up being drunk imaginations๐๐ Loved it nonetheless...

I thought the exact same thing. Phatt was clearly complaining about his shoulders!!!
