It definitely healed my angst

What a beautiful wrap up! Xu Si truly worked hard to redeem himself. I nearly jumped for joy when Xu Si thanked Mr. Du for helping him clearly realize the true value of being an investor to those industries. That was the moment I knew; Xu Si finally came around. 🥹 I cannot stress enough how valuable the theme of growth and value of life has been sprinkled along within the story. The story may have been seen through FL’s POV but in doing so, we were able to watch the progress of Xu Si span over 40 episodes to give us & Xu Si the closure we all needed. If “Rising with the wind” begins with Jiang Hu, then it has been a true blessing for Xu Si to meet JH. Her persistent, confident, loving nature radiates amongst anyone she comes across. Who couldn’t help but admire her?
I admire the progress for both of our leads. They both came a long way. I absolutely loved how he asked JH the same questions again. I really cried here. Now with better understanding, his questions can have more clarity.
My favorite moments:
The conversation, Xu Si had with his mother had me bawling. What an amazing conversation. A mother-son moment that was long overdue. Momma does know best. 😭It wouldn’t matter how much she tried to help him. He would have to learn on his own to be the best version of himself.

What a wonderful wrap up. Zhong Chuxi and Gong Jun cried naturally leaving these last 2 episodes with heaps of sentiment. I had no idea what to expect when I started but I'm glad I stayed. I thank you all for such wonderful fun discussions these past few weeks. I'll be looking forward to reading FINAL REVIEWS. 💖Mine will be coming soon.

Stellar productions really mean it when they say, Stellar. From styling, writing, to production quality this was an unexpectedly pleasing to the eye story that has easily topped my faves for this year. I just wanted to mention, I'm happy they did not forget the cactus plant! I have never been so obsessed over a plant in drama land. lol. I was worried they would show it dying but it's alive and thriving. Which means no feelings have changed. It's been the hidden detail to help me stay sane & keep track of our leads progress. I'm glad even that part has a good wrap up.

Yes it did. It's actually one of my favorite chilling moments from the beginning. This was a parallel moment when JH was mourning her dad's passing & XS celebrated his success in acquiring the land.

It's finale day! No matter what the ending will be like I'd also like to commend the whole team from directors, writers to cast for a fairly well done show. I came for the enemies to lover trope & stayed for the romance/small details. I love the growth & value of life message in this story. The "wind" references in the OSTs and throughout the show is a wonderful detail, I enjoyed seeing. I just love small details in stories so don't mind me. lol

This is my take on it. For all the things Xu Si is going through currently, the line "Rising with the wind begins with Jiang Hu" gives it a new meaning. To go against the wind, he needed to experience what he went through with Jiang Hu. If not for her, he would still be the cold cutthroat guy we saw in the beginning. He's learning from his mistake and making changes. I also don't think he handled the things with JH well but this is his moment to grow.

It's my first time watching Zhong Chuxi and it won't be the last! She carried the weight & burden of Jiang Hu on her back and truly exemplified a distress character who bounced back with a positive outlook. As for Gong Jun, I absolutely loved him as Han Ye. He's probably still 1 of my favorite characters for this year. But Xu Si is coming close. For some one who is an ISTJ that worked hard on set to portray an ESTJ character, Gong Jun nailed it. He mentions it was hard but he wanted to make sure Xu Si's personality could be shown on screen. I think he did great!
I thank Gong Jun and Elaine for bringing some of the hottest tension chemistry in modern dramas this year. 💖

Seriously. It's all about that balance. Once they can communicate and understand the path of each other it'll be easy.

Not at the "WuHu" CP. The netizens are so funny. Excuse me getting excited over small details, but I love that Gong Jun's OST is always playing in the background when they eat at the dainty restaurant.

They really got us riled up these past 4 episodes & previews (if you watched them). The 2 episodes today are filled with so much context. In terms of Xu SI & Jiang Hu, I think writing for their storyline is still going consistent. YJ and ZY are a whole different story. I know we're nearing the end but their development feels rushed & out of place if that makes sense. Especially with the ending of Ep. 38 today. 😳

More thoughts on Ep.37/38:

Context. Context. Context. Looks like Xu Si won’t be going through with the merger for Aneda. Something Jiang Hu doesn’t know about. I absolutely loved the way Jiang Hu killed it on the entrepreneur show. She’s honestly got the best tactic and attitude for marketing. Of course, they would build up the intensity by having Xu Si as a panelist. 👏👏 To the director for filming an amazing interview scene. Cutting back and forth between Xu Si & Jiang Hu’s answers only to be told they weren’t having a face off was great! I saw that coming but the execution was on point.
Every one on the investment side is upset at XS’s decision which is reasonable. He claims love isn’t what’s getting in the way of his decision. What I feel that got Xu Si to this point is Jiang Hu’s answer on the entrepreneur show. She wants to create genuine brands that will live on for generations and live up to its full potential no matter how long it takes. Unlike investors who try to take over and only focus on maximizing interest in the shortest period of time. That’s a direct stab at Xu Si. Whether he’s starting to think investing is for him or not, I can’t say. What I can say is that what he did wasn’t wrong (job pov) but, he’s learning a valuable lesson from the other side as well. I don’t want Xu Si to sacrifice his career but it doesn’t look good.
I find his questions to Jiang Hu about Tengyue is valid. BUT that’s only because we, the audience, have context. We know he’s not going through with the Aneda merger and trying to fix his mistake. Jiang Hu’s answers are what I expected because she’s hurting and has no clue what he’s doing. Now he’s upset and she’s still firm with her choice too. It’s still big misunderstandings. I just hope he can be reasonable & understand her response. Again, as JH said, they're not walking on the same path. Until they have a real big talk, we're going no where.
We have 2 episodes left and when they drop the big ball on Jiang Hu, we’ll most likely get our rushed ending but I’ve made it this far. I’m not giving up on seeing the end result of XuHu. Be it a happy ending or forgive but don’t forget concept.

Haha. Right?! I was excited to see it because they hurt me too much with Ep. 33 lol. The cast were so cute. I'll be needing to watch these events to heal from withdrawal mode.

I love reading everyone's thoughts & opinions. I've even read certain points that didn't cross my mind. I'm firm with my choices but some new perspective helps to alleviate the headache lol.

Haha. Same here! Not going to lie, I was quite exhausted with the comments but everyone makes good points. I almost thought I was not understanding anymore but I'm firm with where I stand. I came for the enemies trope & stayed for the realism. I just hope the ending stays that way with being realistic.

She went through a lot & with all the lessons she's learned, it's good to see her try & bounce back.

Why do I always get this feeling when it nears the ending of a drama? There's a lot to still be fixed and address but so little time left. I hope this is not another rush abrupt ending. 🤞🤞
Thoughts on Episode 35/36:

Revive to thrive. Jiang Hu has changed a lot. It continues to amaze me how she constantly bounces back up. I lowkey missed her sass. lol. JH & Mr. Ye working together is a duo meant for headaches but I can see heaps of success coming their way once they reach compromise. They both have great ideas.
JH: Uncle. There are enough elders in Cloud Footwear. If you come too, we won't be able to afford it. 😂 I don't know why I found this funny. JH stays getting entangled with the hard headed elderly.
I'm so happy Xiao Fei was able to get "Kid" but of course under, Uncle Xu's provision 😏. BOSS left such a huge impact on everyone including viewers despite his minimal scenes. I cried too when Jiang Hu thought of BOSS again. "Kid" is the cutest. I can only imagine that's exactly what BOSS looked like as a puppy.
These 2 episodes basically shows us the aftermath of the biggest blow. I was in awe watching their break up scenes go down. JH & XS's conversation ended in a reasonable mature manner that even I can't get over how well she handled it. Gong Jun did so well crying on those stairs. XS realized his grave mistake. Now he's trying to piece everything back. It'll definitely take time but it's nice to see he's trying hard BTS & realizes it's not his place to confront her.
I like YJ but I think his biggest mistake was making his own illusion of what him and XZY could be. He liked the idea of being together but didn't consider himself. I'm glad he got a wake up call.
If they all can communicate with each other and end it well, I'd be fine with it. What I mean by end it well, they can get together or even just stay as acquaintances. So long as everyone understands each other & are on the same page, I think that'll be the most satisfying.
