Yes, he's a business savvy man. Goes where profit leads. No mixing business and personal matters. Nothing is wrong…
I feel like he underestimated himself too. He thought he could do it but being around JH definitely has changed his perspective leaving him in this situation.
Did anyone else think the firework scene was oddly edited? It felt randomly placed. Apparently it was supposed to be steamier. Again thanks to the dedicated fans who continue to edit the cut kiss scenes. Here's an edit for the kiss in the car after their dinner with Xiao Fei & Yang Jian: https://twitter.com/i/status/1724949084333814266

All great points about Xu Si's arc. Business is business. Love is love. Xu Si is able to differentiate the 2 but XS has met his match. His ex called him out a few times about his EQ. She even explains that she couldn't continue to date him bc he always separates things making her feel like she was dating no one at all. But XS also pointed out that his ex was always one to avoid problems & never address the issue. JH is different. She's become a smart, determined independent lady who faces her problem head on. She's not the typical damsel in distress FL's that always needs saving. Which is obviously why he's attracted to JH in the 1st place. This next big arc will be the eye opener for him to realize what it truly means to not mix business/personal matters which he thought he was able to do. I have faith he'll be able to mend for his mistakes like JH did. This is his part of the story for turning around.
Even if we had plenty of sweet moments, it was hard to digest because I know angst is coming. To Xu Si, there…
Exactly! If she felt the same way as XS, no one would be riled up in the comments. Lol. But I feel like that would've been too good to be true causing a boring story. I'm sure he's considering Jiang Hu but with a plan that will profit both sides. That way he can explain to her in hopes that she will understand. But unfortunately, she doesn't care about becoming a big group even if she still gets to be in control of Tengyue after merging. It's not the authenticity that she aimed for. It truly does suck but they're the realest for keeping the show realistic. Now, we're all mixed with emotions because it's too relatable. 😂

Yes. I'm sure that's how everything will go too. The show's been very consistent and even if it's not a fairytale ending for our leads, they're keeping it realistic because sometimes that's how life is. The comeback of XS and JH will be a great way to finalize the show.
Omg we got two cute kiss scenes 🥰 (one in the car that we thought was cut) and a super steamy scene 😍 that…
Here I was getting tissues ready only to be grinning/laughing like a fool for 2 whole episodes lol. His flirty nature is so over the top, I sometimes cringe at his cheesiness. 😂. I pray he does find a good option too. I know he wants what's best for her but I hope his plan includes her in it. He doesn't want to mix personal/business matters but the 2 situations are too close at hand. I'm so nervous thinking about it. 😬
HAHA. They really did go backwards. XS and JH are even faster.
They really fed us milk tea with double the sugar for these 2 episodes. Here I am waiting for angst yet they gave…
Even if we had plenty of sweet moments, it was hard to digest because I know angst is coming. To Xu Si, there is never a "right" time for situations like these. You got yourself into a sticky situation & to what ever happens there will be a win-lost situation somewhere. I'll have to agree with Mama Xu. He can clearly distinguish business with personal matters but not every one can, that includes Jiang Hu. From an investor POV, what he's doing would be "best" for JH. But sometimes the "best" way isn't always the right way. & even if he has a Plan B the point is, by not telling her is a trust issue that Jiang Hu's been struggling with since her dad's passing.
Like I mentioned before, I appreciated that they showed the main leads as flawed characters to be able to flesh out their characters for the main message of growth & finding one's value of life. When Jiang Hu learns the initial actions of Xu Si, will her reaction be reasonable? Yes. Will I get mad if she rejects him or dumps him? No. It's clear that what he's done is unforgivable. I hope that this will give him the big wake up call to realize that it's not always about profiting. Being with Jiang Hu has truly impacted his way of thinking. It'll be tough but no human is perfect. If we continue to better ourselves, our past doesn't have to define us. In these last few episodes, I'll wait to see how Xu Si can prove himself & come to understand the true values of his life. Whether she takes him back or not? I'd be fine with whatever she chooses. (Which we already know but I can't wait to see how she takes control of it.) I do believe in him. This arc might be my favorite because it's the biggest hurdle he'll have to face and grow from.
The same for Zhaoyang. I was upset with the marriage but what's happen has happen. I hope she treats Yangjian right and realizes that she's got a good catch.
They really fed us milk tea with double the sugar for these 2 episodes. Here I am waiting for angst yet they gave us such cute moments lol. I loved the unexpected funny twists.
I truly thought Xu Si was cooking but it turned out to be Yang Jian. Honestly, I'd prefer him to cook too. HAHA Jiang Hu knocked out after 2 glasses of wine & nervously waiting for Xu Si. 😂😂 Well he didn't let that slip the 2nd time. 🤭
From my earlier posts:I think XS was just buying time to get his Plan B to work before telling JH about the sales.…
I always try to keep Plan B in mind. That's probably why I'm so calm about all of this. But even with a Plan B, I have a hunch something might still fall through. 😰
During the live event for the drama Gong Jun talks about the staircase kiss scene and that he is an introvert…
Haha. Yes! They're so cute. I think I saw a clip on Twitter where he mentions it was quite hard to constantly keep up because he is an ISTJ & Xu Si is an ESTJ. Wu Xuanyi was the opposite being an Extrovert but ZY is introverted.

I have a sense his plan is well thought out but his mistake might be that he's doing it from what he thinks is best without considering what the others like Jiang Hu will think. That might be the only setback.

I just wish Yang Jian didn't spoil her so much. Otherwise, I'd be fine. As for Xu Si, I'm ready to see how he changes things around. He's come a long way from his cold cutthroat days. He's in a dilemma but I believe in him. I feel he's had better judgement once gaining more EQ.
Xu SI wanted to talk to her first about the merger but She refused to talk to him and that damnn secretory is…
I was proud of Jiang Hu standing her ground and making clear of her intentions for the hospital visit. It was awkward listening to her trying to explain about Gao Yi.
They did it again! This show is truly a roller coaster ride. From a sweet blissful ep.29, Ep. 30 had me non stop…
I disagree with Zhaoyang’s marriage too. It’s plainly insincere. If she’s doing it to get back at Gao Yi or to get over him, there’s different routes to go sis. The fact that she proposed for marriage in a drunken state but then proceeded to clarify that she’d still insist on the idea even if it wasn’t Yang Jian left a sour taste in my mouth. She’s taking advantage of his kindness like her mom. I thought she didn’t like that? He is a good safe choice but that’s not fair to Yang Jian. On the other hand, I appreciate that he cares for her and wants to protect her but she’s not a kid anymore. Besides, marriage is a huge commitment. She’s very nonchalant about it like it’s just an everyday task. This is a bummer. I liked the dynamic they have and was waiting to see their development. I know she’ll come around but I just don’t like how irrational she’s being.
I just hate how much of an influence Gao Yi has/had on these 2 ladies.
As for Xu Si’s business ordeal, we saw it coming but I love how sharp Auntie Yue is. I sense a typical drama trope of misunderstanding because they couldn’t find time to talk about it. He wants to inform her but JH’s at her peak shine. Like Mr. Mei said, Teng Yue’s success was unexpected. Does this mean XS didn’t believe in her? I don’t think so. In business world, you never know what’s going to happen. And now that the results are here, he’s faced with the truth. He’s going to lose one or the other regardless. But times have changed and he’s changed. Had it been like in the beginning where it seemed skeptical to believe him, I’d be raising hands. However, this show is about realizing one’s own value of life. I believe this quarter of the show will give more light on Xu Si’s new found values & how he’ll turn things around.

Our poor BOSS... 🥺
