Given that there's a wedding emoji at episode 39, I think they will patch it up but probably not until HY falls…
All because of some last minute thing they found out about each other. LOL. I don't want to be a negative nancy but dramas have traumatized us with these bad endings. 🤣
Making a defence for Di Chengen - yes I can already hear the calls for me to be banished from MDL, but please…
Yeah, I understand your reasoning as I was on the fence about her too. She's definitely fell into the greed category but considering her circumstances, I can see why she would have turned this way. I don't agree with it but I felt being on the mountain took a toll on her.

Yeah, I know they'll most likely get married its just I wonder if it'll make any sense. Given the info earlier about the scriptwriter and what we've been watching, I hope its not some random patch up. Lol! He's the real superman for not dying off those cliffs. 🤣🤣
Literally why I'm still pining for his character. I agree he still is naïve to a certain degree but he got pushed…
Right. It's not like he wanted this to happen. And how could he make such a rash decision between family and the woman he loves. He loves his evidence and when he got what he asked for, it was too much for him to handle. Love him but he got a dose of reality today so I'm excited to see what the both of them will do this point forward.
I'm speechless... Episode 25 did some wonders to these characters. This 2nd half of the case kept me on my toes. Ren Anle took the biggest risk on Han Ye and Anning but came out with such a big win! So happy for her. Han Ye might have been prepared for Anle's accusation with the witnesses but not her revealing her identity. The hurt in his eyes as he realized the free willed Di Ziyuan he once knew used him to exact justice. WOW! I mean yes, wake up, you guys aren't kids anymore but to see the person you loved, heavily tried to protect, and trust use you is a huge sting. On top of all that, he was cornered and still held justice in the court with everyone. I have no idea how the show is going to patch up this rift between them but I'd understand if it doesn't work out. I still want to ship but its not plausible at this point.
And the Empress dowager. No remorse whatsoever. smh. 😠😠To walk away with her head held high after admitting such a crime is such a slap in the face to Anle. Oh I hope Grandma Di will help get this wretched lady. Bring on the battles of the grannies.
So the script writer said she only wrote for 17 episodes, WTF? 🤣 No wonder the character of Han Ye and Di Ziyuan…
LMAO. I'm done. 🤣🤣 Is it worth me getting heated up and fighting for these characters then? That's such a huge disappointment for us viewers. We want a story not a reality show.
I liked how Gong Jun managed to show us his determination to seek justice but you could tell his heart was breaking…
Literally why I'm still pining for his character. I agree he still is naïve to a certain degree but he got pushed into a corner and still turned on his own father presently. Some don't agree with his hurt but I certainly understand him. Ughh so much love for this character lol
There's been at times a mixed message as to if this was this about revenge or was it about seeking justice. I…
And I hate to say this because I know I couldn't do it myself but per the many revenge dramas I've watched, to exact revenge one must be ruthless and not waver. And LMX even said so himself in the beginning of the show. So even if his methods are somewhat immoral., He's consistent on his plan.
Thank you so much for this comment! I truly like Han Ye's character but this show isn't doing him justice. We…
Yeap! That's why at face level its easy to think he's a love sick boy but his actions are always different from his words which is why I love the character.
The drama did gave the viewers the impression that Han Ye believes the Di family was guilty . Note that Han Ye…
Thank you so much for this comment! I truly like Han Ye's character but this show isn't doing him justice. We really have to read through the lines of his words and expressions to understand his ideas and really, there's not much of it. I can see why the author favors Han Ye as do I but too bad he's being looked at as someone whose unwise.
Well the ball finally started rolling. Been waiting for them to finally touch on the unjust deaths of the Di family.…
Yes!! I understand their reasoning for wanting to protect her but I wouldn't be at rest if I knew my own family was wronged. I loved how composed she was throughout the whole ordeal. Your own family getting dissed right in front of you but she held it in with grace.
What a gripping Episode, 24 was! That whole court scene had me wanting more. This is exactly what we’ve been…
*WARNING* LONG ESSAY:
At face value, YES, he does seem unwise for telling Anle to not blow her cover. But it would be too costly if things get revealed now. Here's my theory: Most likely, he knows what the Han family did cannot be atoned for but so long as he can protect and help her bring justice to the Di family and return the empire back to them, Anle can be at peace like he wants her to be. Seemingly, it would have to be when he ascends the throne for him to take on this case and investigate. If they do it now, he knows Anle could risk getting killed for identity fraud. Which is probably why he keeps asking if she could stay under cover as Anle and live freely. But we all know Anle can’t wait for that. Lol. However, from past conversations he’s had with Anle, we know he’s a calculated guy who likes to be prepared at all cost before taking anything down, which is why he asks Anle to be cautious before doing anything. He still wants them to be on good terms so I theorized that his plan was he wants to make sure she has evidence. Which is also why Anle knew deep down that she could trust him to help clear the situation. The way they both kept giving each other looks in the court secured it. She was signaling to let him know about the evidence. And of course, he picked up on it which is why he was able to courageously stand up there and question everything. He’s definitely in a tough spot between family and the women he loves. I still admire him and love the idea of having to read between the lines to understand Han Ye but the major problem I believe that is ruining his character like many others is this… We’re being TOLD too much but not SHOWN enough.
What a gripping Episode, 24 was! That whole court scene had me wanting more. This is exactly what we’ve been waiting for. However, through the many comments today, I still want to make my stance on Han Ye. To all the novel readers, I truly appreciate you guys helping us filling in for some confusion but clearly, it can’t be denied they did the characters a disservice in this adaptation. We shouldn’t have to depend on novel readers to help us understand the story if it was well adapted. And I don’t mean exact word for word dialogues or else it wouldn’t be an adaptation BUT we shouldn’t have to be watching and not understanding the true motives. So, here’s my stance on Han Ye:
