Yupp. I was just thinking about FL's character. The book her was more feisty. But the way they're doing this story line seems legit and makes sense. I just prefer if they were on the same level of standing like in the novel. A cloud and a fairy. But this Ancient God of War is a new concept I don't mind. Yeah. With the the way they're going with the story, this animal arc does make sense. Its just in the novel, the animal arc had some significance because they discovered some stuff about the bad guy in the novel from it before there lives quickly ended. But since its changed, it's ok. I was surprised to still see them in cute animated form. I was wondering how they'd do it. Lol.

I really thought the extravagant outfit where he has white hair would somehow be part of the animal arc but now that we've seen ep.1, I can't wait to see what it's for. He definitely does! I've loved him since TROTAR and everything after. So proud of him.

And I'm fine with that! 🥵 but I can see how they're going to amp up the angst with just that detail alone. He used half of his primordial spirit to destroy the devil Cang Hai . Oh great... 😬 - This Cang Hai storyline is new but I find it interesting to flesh out this God of War character. - Looks like our FL already regrets auctioning off Chu Kong. But the Princess of the East Sea gives off a thorn on the side vibe for later. 😒 - The only thing I'm quite sad about is the animal arc. Why did they have to do it first? But since they're changing the story, I guess the animals being first makes for a cute start. Piggy Chu Kong is too cute. I love that it still vividly animates his emotions. The butt shove is the best haha. - FL's character is less feisty. I liked that part about her in the book.
An overall good start. I can't get enough of the visuals. This is different but a good different. Can't wait to see more later!
