*sigh* Patience really is a virtue. I think they're getting us riled up with these slow filler build up episodes but once the big angst hit, it'll be understandable. That's just my wishful thinking though. 😅

I do hope it gets more serious! Initially, I was interested for the BIG reveal of Han Ye finding out she's the real deal and not bath time girl but the build up is losing that momentum. When we get to that point, will it even be satisfying?

It might be because you read the novel. I love our leads and in terms of idol drama, it's doing the job right. But as of now, most of the characters are just moping around. 😕

- LMX triggering and pressing Anning about the incident was thrilling. The one strategist I'm willing to invest and watch play out.
- LMX always ask the right questions when discussing with Anle or Han Ye about their feelings. Poor him having to keep that part in mind. 😅
- Not the 8 year old handwriting! 😂😂 The fake DZY is finally starting to be preposterous to Han Ye.
- Han Ye is starting to regret his decisions. The distant Anle was a good eye opener. She truly meant it when she said, "There's only one Ren Anle and once I'm gone, I'm gone." He thought she was still going to be the flirty Anle he knew but nope! She's getting her priorities straight.

After reading a few comments today, I've concluded, I need to read this book! The cleverness is all I ask for but the show is undermining it. We're constantly being told more than shown and that's ruining certain aspects of the show. Even if the scriptwriters think some political matters might bore the audiences, if done right, we'd still be invested. Any who, here's a few of my thoughts on Episode 18:

Apparently as he pushed the door off of her, some beams fell and the are by the door is in flames. You could barely tell but Anle said they're blocked in that's why.

LMAO!!! Stop. I can't with you. 😂😂 I don't know how many times we've seen her bathe already. 💀

Same here! Almost all main cast has their own cover they're hiding and we've barely touched surface on any of it.

YESSS! That part was so satisfying to watch. Empress dowager giving us some enlightenment despite her true motives.

That cold bath idea had to have been the most naïve thing ever. If she truly was smart, she'd do her best to know Han Ye better and one up but nope.

I understand they want build up but this build up is over peaked.
