Agreed! I still like the story but I feel there's some disconnect with certain plot points like this one. I wish they would show a little bit more towards his loyalty to Ziyuan. Why is he so infatuated? We've only seen small bits of the past and it didn't help solidify anything. It'd make some more sense if we saw their past interactions.
