No one probably suspects it because they've wanted to take him down for too long and didn't pay attention to the…
But really if they want to get this down right, the small details should matter. Considering that these characters are to be clever, surely one of them would have been able to detect something. *sigh* this is too discrediting.
Yeah, the emperor's reaction to the Marquis Gu situation showed us another side of the emperor's character.First…
He's not that clever of an emperor as I thought...
Red umbrella guy is all I refer to him as lol. It's easier for me to remember. π But exactly, if he's so pertinent in assisting the Emperor, why does it seem like only Marquis Gu does.
Lengbey cooperating with the red umbrella guy all of a sudden turning against Anning, putting her to sleep spying…
Oh my god if he does say it's all for her, I'd be livid. That aint no excuse. And you're right. I wonder why she's not suspicious someone who's been cold like Lengbei all of a sudden hangs around Mo Shuang so much. π€·ββοΈ
- Talking to Anle LMX commented that "now that everything is ready" they could reveal her ID. How are things suddenly…
1) That was my exact thinking. I was trying to understand how they can reveal everything but I guess they thought getting rid of Marquis Gu and having Zhong Hai as witness can back them up to make the big move? π€ 2) I'm just going to assume they think he's injured because anyone falling off such a huge cliff would be. 3) HAHA. I almost thought we were watching a Xianxia again. It honestly reminded me of Ji Yunhe and Chang Yi (The Blue Whisper) when they got sucked into this parallel world.
but on the other hand, Episode 20 had me itching for some questions and Episode 21 merely explained it. Is it just me or is it too easy that everything has fallen onto Marquis Gu and no one suspects that? The red umbrella guy is literally playing everyone yet no one suspects him. Is it because he's too lowkey? I don't even think I've seen him have any interactions with the emperor. And the emperor, he was all fair game and protecting Marquis Gu until Han Ye showed him the sword then he quickly faltered. I guess Anle was right about the emperor being too paranoid. The emperor and Marquis Gu really let their guard down. LMX started suspecting something was off about the whole thing after the interrogation but wouldn't they have sensed something was off earlier? Maybe I'm over thinking this.
Overall, these 2 episodes today were pretty good. There was a lot going on but it finally feels like the story is being pieced together. I'm glad Han Ye finally connected the dots and I understand why he's being lowkey about it but he's so proud to come back and take her as his DZY in front of LMX. Lol. I just hope he can get rid of fake DZY sooner before trying to be near Anle more often. Anle and Han Ye finally have time a lone and with the overall situation, I wouldn't blame her for cherishing this special moment. It's not going to happen anytime soon or if ever, again.
That's good. I was just curious. I started a few of the beginning chapters and could feel the complexity of the story which was more to my liking. Regardless of the ending, if the story can build up with all the complexities, I'd still continue.
Quite a fair split. I'm probably around the same. I want to see how he'll be turning things around now that the truth is out. And wow! I never thought about that but Wen Shuo and Mo Shuang would make a cute pairing. π
