The revelation and reaction was so lame. I'm so disappointed with this drama directions. To create a balance with…
Haha. I normally don't want lots of angst but I concur. This is a revenge drama or so it says so I was expecting some. How do you revenge without angst?
Anyone's touched by the genuine care and love the King had for Han Ye? Both actors acted superbly well in that…
๐โโ๏ธ I thought it was such a rare genuine moment. It was a real father son moment not Emperor and prince formality. Han Ye even addressed himself as son for the first time in front of the emperor. ๐
In my opinion, drama Han Ye doesn't really have any good options here. If he choses Ren Anle, he's choosing a…
That's right! Which is why I'm excited to see how he turns things around. All 3 options have a setback. We sort of know endgame but I'd still love how he plans things out. That'd seal the deal for me on Han Ye.
Finally! Despite the repetitive nuisances and lines, today's episode was not as annoying. I actually enjoyed this episode. It's starting to finally feel like it's picking up again. All the chess pieces are starting to make their own moves which coincidentally, has helped eat a chess piece (Marquis Zhongyi) In the beginning, I was confused since I'm not a chess player whatsoever but I'm starting to think, I really should learn.
All I can say is, Han Ye is a very calculated person making it seem like he doesn't do much but this episode is finally giving him some traction. He's been investigating and planning in secrecy and I hope everything he's doing comes to fruition with satisfactory effect or else, I'd be super disappointed. He's made a few mistakes already hence the regret of the fake DZY being Crown Princess so it'd be great to see how he turns it around.
But I can't deny that the last few episodes were draggy. I don't know how to explain it, but I feel like the writers had no idea what to do so we had some filler episodes with the characters moping around as we wait for any news of their investigations to get back. Kind of like when you're downloading a huge program and you work on something else while waiting for it to finish.
Anyways, looks like ep.20 and 21 are promising! So satisfying to see ANle tell fake DZY off. She did not just tell Anle to back off Crown Prince... good thing he pranced away with Anle lol.
I am watching this at a snail pace and just on epi 8. So far this is a decent watch. Iโve been reading the comments…
Either the script writers were lazy or had too many ideas and didn't figure out how to execute a good story flow. But I agree! I'm sort of similar to Han Ye when it comes to planning things. So I still take a liking to his character. I just wish to see more of his oomph because these side characters are making us lose interest on the real deal.
Oh I think he definitely regretting. He couldnโt even muster much gratitude when the emperor approved of DCE…
That's true. But no one else on his side knows she's a fake so they expect him to be happy since he's been constantly pining for it. Regrets indeed for Han Ye.
Many people asked why isnโt Hanye doing anything about fake DZY. We already know he sent his men to gather intel.…
*sigh* Patience really is a virtue. I think they're getting us riled up with these slow filler build up episodes but once the big angst hit, it'll be understandable. That's just my wishful thinking though. ๐
When are we gonna get the Anle as you describe? As for the 18 wasted episodes she is not what you describe at…
I do hope it gets more serious! Initially, I was interested for the BIG reveal of Han Ye finding out she's the real deal and not bath time girl but the build up is losing that momentum. When we get to that point, will it even be satisfying?
Anle: "In the past he had eyes for the Jing state, his subjects, and Di Ziyuan. But today, he only had eyes for me." Damn that cut deep. ๐ฅบ๐ฅบ
I'm sorry but I can't stop laughing at the fake DZY getting stabbed. It looked so fake it had me ROFL. ๐๐
Keeping a close eye on empress dowager. She's another piece coming in from left field. ๐ค That includes the Mo siblings too.
