THANK YOU. I couldn’t quite articulate why I was still rooting and believing in the chairman. He can be very harsh and cold but I think it’s clear why he’s so distrustful and ready to push people away at the smallest sign of betrayal or lies. He doesn’t always treat others especially those supposedly closest to him in the best way but I don’t think he’s a bad person. and I hope he gets a redemption arc -would love to see him beg for forgiveness though.

I’ve made it this far so I’ll unfortunately be sticking with it till the end but I get you. I just don’t get what the writers want to get out of this. Is it supposed to show how money changes people? Why does it feel like Gangju’s being punished for being the kindest person in the show and for trying to do something that made him happy? And where’s the romance lmaoo the only “successful” relationship is between the cop brother and his cop wife who are basically background characters. *sigh* It’s gotten boring.
