Maybe I'm a terrible person but I don't really feel bad for Jintae or care that he's "remorseful." In my opinion, the best "retaliation" would've been to be better than the FIL said he would be. The best retaliation would've been to treat Mari well and love her the way he claims to. To reunite his wife with her lost son and atone for his sins. Waiting until you get caught then saying you'll take the burdens and leave isn't being remorseful lmao it's being a coward and running away so you don't have to actually see the hurt you've caused. If Jintae was truly remorseful, he would've confessed from the start or even when Hyunsung begged him to or even when he sat smiling in Mari's face while she thanked him and gifted him land. I don't care how many tears he sheds, I don't believe he's remorseful about his actions just about the outcome.
And omg can we talk about how he used the FIL as an excuse like bro HE'S DEAD. Who cares what a dead man thought of you LMAOOOOO why was your first choice to be exactly who he thought you were. goofy.
Extensions are the bane of my existence! I was really looking forward to this ending already. The accident is…
YES! Even when they found out the truth, SJ was more upset with her mother for believing YJ’s words than with the dad for cheating. It’s like it’s natural for men to cheat so they simply accepted it and went about their day. And even when they show remorse, it’s not because of the cheating but only because SY was separated from SJ.
It can be so hard to feel empathy towards Dora. Yes, Jindan sucked but the person who put her in his line of sight was her mom. If her mom hadn’t been using her as a cash cow, most of her misfortunes would’ve never happened. I understand there’s a lot of history, etc between Dora and her mother but how am I supposed to root for someone who continues to trust, enable and provide her biggest enemy with more opportunities to hurt her. I get you want to run away from Pilseung but to rely on the one person who has consistently used you and leaving without giving your biggest supporters (Dojun and Dosik) a heads up is so stupid. I’m gonna say this only because it’s about a fictional character — the best thing Dora has done this whole series was jump off that cliff🤷🏾♀️
anyways this writer sucks and the characters are terribly written except for Mari, Dojun and Jintaek cuz they’re my babygirls <33
also!! if they were gonna have her stand up after an outburst might as well have used that moment for a product placement. close your eyes and picture this: *Dora sobs on the floor and pushes Pilseung away* A kopiko pack (there’d also be a second version where it’s a snickers bar) falls out of his jacket pocket and he offers it to her. she takes it, wipes her tears and gets the resolve to try again. SHE WALKS. Pilseung rejoices, hugs her and whispers into her hair “you’re not you when you’re hungry”
To me, it's a little too late in the drama to buy into any romantic relationship between these two. They are both…
I forgot about that omg. Like sure the teacher was acting blind to his feelings for Sunyoung but omgg the way that man avoided her was so childish. We need more (daily) dramas where everyone in the main cast doesn't need a romantic interest
A-ra being simply a plot device to get Sunyoung and the uncle together is so ridiculous. Also, I don't know about y'all but I'd rather eat a jean jacket than be with someone who's settling for me. The uncle has no self-esteem cuz 1) he shouldn't have liked Sunyoung for that long especially since she never considered him and option 2) she's only with him because the writer said so. am I really supposed to believe that after ignoring that man for 30+years Sunyoung suddenly has feelings for him? I call BULL$HIT.
Unappreciative Beauty and Mr. Fool should've been the title.
From day 1 Pilseung has supported Dora and what does he get in return? Her always pushing him away and hurting him. If this is what unconditional love means, I want NO parts of that.
ALSO why does the writer hate their main characters so much?
As the second son of the Gong family there might have been a substantial inheritance when the father died. I’m…
With the way he indulges, I doubt the money's lasted this long. And he has terrible management for the company that's why it makes no sense to me. His employees must be the ones keeping the company afloat cuz all he does is buy gifts/pay Dora's mom and withdraw money to bribe and blackmail others.
Actually, I get why they do the things they do. But for me the person who should be beheaded would be Jin Jang…
You can understand their motives but the impact of their actions is why they should be beheaded. Jangsu is an absolute buffoon but not deserving of death.
maybe it’s because he’s from a chaebol family so using large amounts of money doesn’t seem crazy? but withdrawing…
Also, a few episodes ago Jintaek threw papers at Jindan's face when they found out he wasn't taking good care of the company. So I feel like they should've kept a better eye on him after that and flagged certain behaviours like the money withdrawals and him never being at work cuz he's too busy stalking people.
Great observation. I can add it too the rest of infinity of things that don't add up in this drama. If you got…
haha we could hold a seminar on all the things that don't add up but I want to choose my battles wisely. This is one of the things they could easily explain and it could contribute to a better plot but alas the writer doesn't care enough to make any of this make sense.
