I understand what you are trying to say, directors deliberately do things to create more meaning for the film. But I guess with this drama the director weren't focused on the details, and I guess it would be the same for most kdramas out there. Unlike Squid Game where everything done was deliberate and manipulated to convey more meaning. I'm guessing you've studied films before??
Agreed, once you have watched ~10 kdramas, you definitely can spot a pattern. But I guess what makes this one slightly more unique is that fact that the FL is richer than the ML🤷♀️

So many unexplained loop holes in this movie: Why did all of the zombies started to go inside when it started to "rain"? Why did they have to jump off the building to get to floor 8? How did they manage to go through a bunch of zombies without getting bitten, when the police officer couldn't even get through a few? How did PSH survive being in the same room as the zombie wife, without getting bitten?
As always, PSH has to be a weak FL who always causes trouble for the ML 🤦♀️ I understand it is not the actress fault, but why does she always choose dramas with weak characters!!
