- and here i thought Ming and FanXiao were toxic and psychotic, but nooooo. Kelvin is on Vegas' level of fcked up. kidnapping his ex, putting him in chains, graping him, staging his kidnapping (when they were still together) and gang beating (apparently in the book he got him to be gang-graped.) so they changed it in the series - not to mention becoming a killer (allegedly). i'm not sure if i want them to have a HEA.
- love the series and Peat is KILLING it in this role - i am so used to him being the soft traumatized cinnamon roll that i'm surprised and happy with him being the cause of the trauma for once 🤠can't wait for the new episodes.
when her father told her that, i felt so bad for her and she must have died inside. no father should treat his…
especially since from the flashbacks she seemed to be an absolute "Daddy's Girl" and to have him think of her that way must have destroyed her heart ☹
No i care too. Hope she will prove innocence.. It wil help her mentally too
being accused of something you didn't do and having everyone look at you as a homewrecker must be the worst feeling - adding to it your mother telling you to ignore it so as to not ruin her reputation & career while the father actually believing it must be a nightmare.
am i the only one who only cares about Bom's parents fixing their relationship with her (what her father said to her was a major low blow tho) and her finally proving her innocence? the only storyline i care about is her past unjust treatment and when she'll finally sue that bastard father and his wife for labeling her a homewrecker and ruining her life.
oh the AUDACITY of Zhuang Xu, playing the wronged side and trapping himself in the victim mentality. He's acting as if Xi Guang played with his feelings and then disappeared - did he forget that she confessed to him and he turned her down, that the whole time in college he was cold and aloof towards her, that he was attached at the hip to the vindictive Rong, and that he quickly believed that Xi Guang would ruin Rong's interview out of malice? He did NOT give a single inclination that he liked Xi Guang, he did not give her a chance to prove her innocence, and baby girl had had enough of his cowardly foolishness. Now that she's finally found the man who is truly madly in love with her and would go to the ends of the earth for her, he's all tears and begging? For what? For her to become a second version of her mother in marriage? Zhuang Xu is the mini version of Xi Guang's father; money hungry, resentful, entitled, and malicious - and if Xi Guang got with him, her life would be an unhappy misery. I hope she cuts all ties with him and he stays as far away from her as possible because the taxi scene showed how unhinged he was and he could present a real danger to Xi Guang if he gave in to his "obsession" with her.
Also, if I were Xi Guang, I'd cut ties with the whole group; like they're all messy and betrayed her once, they could do it again.
p.s: The actor Wei Ming sure is doing a wonderful job making me hate Zhuang Xu
exactly... they show the true nature of humans in love ... love makes us kind, gentle, loving, and sweet - but…
Fan Xiao & Shulang's love is toxic ... and because it's them, they'll be able to reach peace eventually (once Fan Xiao sets Shulang free and Shulang forgives Fan Xiao). Fan Xiao became emotionally and mentally abusive towards Shulang once the truth came out and he sensed Shulang's will to leave him... some people are able to get passed it, others aren't; when i said DV, i meant physical abu$e, because this type of abuse can never be healed/cured, and it's always shown at the start of the relationship. what Fan Xiao & Shulang have is NOT fluffy love; it's dark, twisted, and all consuming, and that's just how their story goes.
The brainless moralists of fiction strike again. Y'all should read about Chinese BL themes before watching one…
exactly... they show the true nature of humans in love ... love makes us kind, gentle, loving, and sweet - but it can also turn into an obsession, making us manipulative, obsessive, and downright deranged. not all love is fluffy love, sometimes love is pain and that's okay, because we are humans (unless there's DV involved, then it's not love, but imprisonment, and not the redeemable kind)
