Sad but true but i knew it won't be possible with just 12 episodes. I feel like Japan is the only one that really…
Dangerous Drugs of Sex was an absolute monstrosity ... i still reel in shock every time i remember it ... my jaw was on the floor the whole time i was watching it.
- episode 4: OH MY GOD, that toad Chin is the one who saw them and he blackmailed Tone into sleeping with him? motherfcker deserved that knife that he got for trying to r@pe Tone to stay quite - like the way I yelled in excitement when he died, serves his punk-ass right for what he was about to do ... like that was NOT the bl that i wanted to see.
- the person talking to Phoem might have been Chin before he died, or someone else Chin told about the affair (but from the back he looks like Chin), and Phoem's face was so enraged that it scared me.
- Why is Shen running away from Tone? what did she see him do? did he find Chin's dead body and decided to bury it, and that's when Shen saw him and ran away from him?
currently watching episode 3 at Phoem slapping Shen and i've NEVER hated a Film character before like I do now ... not only did he humiliate his wife in front of that vapid bitch, but he had the gall to abuse his wife? the way he put ALL of his strength in both slaps to Shen's face, and she's such a small woman - like I don't care what's his deal anymore, I just want Shen to be free from this hell hole...
Edit: just finished episode 3 and OH MY GOD, Shen & Tone did the deed and honestly, I don't blame her, not one bit, despite hating cheating, but if there's abuse and nonchalant from the husband, then I don't care.. I'm just worried about the consequences of the affair.
and the bastard Toem tried to r@pe Shen? and his other knew of his character and married him off in order to straighten him out? Nah, this whole family needs to go.
i LOVED A Round Trip to Love and to see it remade with a longer and more detailed version is making me so happy. From the trailer alone, looks like we're getting even more toxicity and hatred in the remake. I CAN'T WAIT. ONE MORE DAY TO GO.
- so, i got pulled into this lakorn because of my man Film, but STAYED for the plot. something definitely happened to Phoem when he was away (my guess is that he had an accident and became impotent/barren) and he's trying to make up for it to Shen by the lavish expenses and special treatment - HOWEVER, i can see his rage boiling down the surface and from the looks of it (ep 3 preview with him slapping Shen) he's a ticking time bomb that might explode at any moment.
- Phoem's reaction to his brother's wife's pregnancy is both nonchalant and alarming; and the way he was trying to fish out information from the doctor about his obvious accident is extremely suspicious.
- Shen, i'm starting to love the fact that she's standing up for herself against her hag of a mother-in-law; and it absolutely helps that Phoem is giving her the Mistress of the House treatment (at least in front of everyone and ESPECIALLY his mother). Now, regarding her character - i believe that Shen is in lust with Phoem, OR she's madly in love with him but in lust with Tone - her feelings are obviously confused, especially with Phoem's sudden aloofness after showing her what love/lust can be - and seeing Tone and the way he "cares" for her needs, even if it's by command from Phoem is bound to make her stray, especially since she's been deprived from any form of love or affection from her father (the bastard even forbade her from reading romance novels)
- As for Tone, i don't know if he has a hidden agenda of his own (maybe a revenge plot against Phoem's family, him being in love with Phoem, or really falling in love with Shen). I'm also having the theory that Phoem is pushing Shen and Tone together for one of 2 reasons (A): Phoem wants to see if Shen will have an affair or not (B) him wanting the affair to happen because he can't give Shen children/can't have a child of his own and he wants an heir (even if illegitimate)
- Another theory i have is that it's all a ploy by Phoem; the marriage, romance with Shen, sudden aloofness after his return, making Tone Shen's personal driver/bodyguard ... something is definitely rotten in Phoem's household.
- Also, what the HELL is going on with Phoem's father? like I AM CONFUSION!!!
this looks like a serious issue given to us in a comedic form ... can't wait to see my man Ji-hoon in a comedy-esque style drama (after all the angst he's been giving us lately; not that i'm complaining) i've been waiting for a comedic role from him ever since Love Revolution ended.
He only showed emotions in their last interaction because it was one of the requested things by the client in…
i also love me some NC scenes don't get me wrong, but the way the episodes were delivered, it was like being on the gay side of the hub ... a little bit of plot would've been good, but no, they just gave us nothing but p0rn π€
Finished this mini-series and the whole time I was waiting for a plot to hit (to pun intended), but nothing; not even a tiny bit of story as to why he asked for "therapy", how did he find out about the "therapist", and whether he was always interested in men or he was just going with the flow and ended up liking it.
As for the "therapist", why the FCK was he so robotic the whole first 3 episodes? he actually scared me and I was waiting for the reveal of him being a s3x robot, but no, that's just him or his professionalism (which was way too much detachment for me).
THEN he actually showed emotion and reactions in episode 4 and i was waiting for it to end up as them being a couple role playing, or one of them already liking the other and took advantage of the "therapy" sessions to get close, BUT NO ... NOTHING ... homeboy went back to being a robot after the deed was done, only to leave a piece of paper for the lead, the lead running after him and then IT ENDS?
This series was nothing but a soft-core gay corn which should only be on the hub ... and don't get me started on the positions - cause not even gymnasts or contortionists would be able to do all that ... kudos to both leads i guess. 2/5 for aesthetics.
I remembered how I used to bash Fan Xiao's fans in the comments, now I am a fan of Kelvin and the amount of hate…
apparently in the novel the kidnapping of Veir was staged by Kelvin and there was gang grape and not beating so that's probably why they changed character "positions"

I can't wait for the next 2 episodes

p.s: once again Peat knocked it out the park with his acting; playing the psychotic villain character really suits him
