Ok so, for the ones who wants to understand a little bit better what’s happening.. let me tell you. 😌 Do…
i'm at the part of the novel where Fan Xiao is the one who deliberately presses "send" to the email regarding the evidence against him & his family while kissing Shulang. I can't wait to see it on screen.
* ep 11: - not Shulang pulling out a sugar daddy/baby contract and forcing Fan Xiao to sign it 🤣 he really said 'if you want this cookie, you're gonna have to pay for it from now on'. 🤣 then Fan Xiao telling Shulang to be his sugar daddy instead because he doesn't want Shulang to humiliate himself? and agreeing to Shulang's condition of TOPPING him? love him or hate him, Fan Xiao is a psychotic loser in love who would take the humiliation instead of his lover.
- Fan Xiao, you really were gonna force yourself on Shulang? REALLY? your gooning haze was gonna cost you a lot more than what you've already lost; CONTROL YOUR 3RD LEG FAN XIAO.
- CEO Qin is another lunatic who has his eyes dead set on Shulang (seriously, this man is a magnet for deranged men, like leave my baby alone) but he's a little kid playing checkers while Fan Xiao is a master manipulator playing chess. And don't get me started on the scene where Fan Xiao scratched Qin's car with his keys, being all stoic and cold (as if i needed more reason to fall for this man)
- i LOVED how President Shi (the female sponsor) decided to be Shulang's pretend one-night-stand to spite Fan Xiao 👏 this woman is diabolical, AND GORGEOUS ... if this wasn't a BL, it would've been a great noona romance between her and Shulang ... and the way Fan Xiao was BOILING with jealousy 🤣.
-* ep 12: - starting and ending the episode with Fan Xiao was a stellar decision; the start gave me a *little* hope that we would be seeing the full redemption this episode, with Fan Xiao explaining everything to Shulang and why he did what he did, and eventually falling for Shulang, only for it all to end up BLOWING UP IN HIS FACE; Shulang realizing that all of this happened to him because he was a good & kind human being would break the strongest of saints... THEN, Fan Xiao had to RUIN IT AGAIN by being the sicko that he is and refusing to let Shulang go - the MADNESS in his eyes was sinister and i was like 'MY GUY, YOU'RE DOING TOO MUCH'.
- watching Shulang plan on taking down Fan Xiao was a treat (although he won't really be able to do it; novel readers know) and that way i CACKLED when he told Fan Yu (Xiao's 2nd brother) that he'd be the one on top when suggesting pretend dating 🤣 the shock on 2nd brother's face was priceless 🤣.
- CEO Qin is starting to grow on me a little, but he's too green and too tame for me (and Shulang💀)
- ONCE AGAIN, Shulang is a MAGNET for psychopaths, like he's surrounded by UNHINGED men, because what do you mean Chief Liu is INFORMED of the true nature of Fan Xiao's manipulation and STILL betraying Shulang and delivering him to Fan Xiao on a silver platter AGAIN, with Fan Xiao pretending to be a plaintiff while Chief Liu is the defendant regarding the investment - all a ploy to entrap Shulang once again with his love of helping those in need.
SIDE NOTE: i rewatched the episode and realized that the reason Fan Xiao did this was because he wanted Shulang to have a purpose in life to live for, since he mentioned to Shulang that he's thinking of ending things to be free of it all. the method might be deranged, but its serving it's purpose to keep Shulang alive and going.
- the flashback about Shulang's childhood explains everything about him and his character - the reason he always puts others before himself, why he's willing to always help those in need, and the way he's ready to put himself in danger if it meant the safety of others; it's because he never had anyone to do the same for him - he was orphaned at a young age, thrown into an orphanage, paraded around to dozens of families until he was finally picked up like a stray cat, only to be thrown onto the streets when said family was able to conceive a child of their own (that bitch of a mother and weak father will get their karma from their "flesh and blood" one day).
side note: can Yun Qi stop being charismatic, hot, sexy, diabolical, and alpha as Fan Xiao dressed in all black? like i can't focus with his pretty face and deep voice 😊 and now i have to wait another week for episode 13? pfft.
so, so far i'm only staying for the cringe acting (also for keifer & yuri's gorgeous faces) because the storyline this season is not doing it for me ... let me tell you why ___
*NOTE: EP 2 PISSED ME OFF SO BAD.
- Yuri: is using emotional manipulation, mental gymnastics, and family financial troubles in order to keep an ironclad hold on jay-jay.
- Keifer: WTF happened to him? is he on dru*gs? is he mentally unstable? clearly, because how the FCK could he attack Jay-Jay like this? he's exhibiting MAJOR abusive characteristics, even more so than season 1 (and that's saying something). if a guy attacks the girl he claims to love that way and tells her verbatim that "you are mine, and if you do anything like that again, you'll pay for it" RUN GIRL, RUN. the moment he saw her coming out of that classroom after Yuri left, Keifer grabbed her, slammed her against the wall, and kept on roughing her up some more . he GRABBED her tiny face in his huge hand and squeezed hard, threatening her of horrible consequences if she ever got too close to Yuri again. AGAIN, he's abusing the girl he claims to love and we're supposed to be rooting for this guy? - side note: this abusive scene reminded me of the Indonesian romance thriller series Cinta Mati / Love Untill Death, where the main lead (Bara) was OBSESSED and abusive towards the female lead (Aalyah) to the point of kid*napping & ra*ping her after she broke up with him. Keifer gave me MAJOR Bara vibes and I'm honestly scared for Jay-Jay; like i thought we were getting a Keifer redemption arc in season 2, obviously NOT.
- The boys of section E: THE WHOLE CLASS is abusive and filled with sickos ... watching the way they ENJOYED beating up Kiko; granted, that bastard deserved the beating that he got, but it was the way they enjoyed, basked in, and gloated in the violence they were delivering - and don't get me started on Ci-N filming the whole thing and KEEPING THE FOOTAGE AS A SOUVENIRE. another thing pissing me off is the way that EVERY. SINGLE. BOY in section e is OBSESSED with Jay-Jay, and they were the same with Ella ... like i just want Jay-Jay to leave section e and the abuse coming from it behind.
- Jay-Jay's family: they are pieces of sh*it. since season 1, they gave absolutely zero fcks about Jay-Jay, and Aries was doing nothing but verbally abusing and manhandling Jay-Jay at every turn... all of this for it to end with her "family" selling her off to the Hanamitchi's because they're having "financial problems" and Yuri likes Jay-Jay, so it's okay to ambush Jay-Jay and force her into an engagement she didn't wait.
- Jay-Jay: i feel so sorry for that girl. she's getting hits from EVERYWHERE and can't catch a break. she's being emotionally blackmailed by Yuri's soft "love" for her, being emotionally-mentally-and physically abu*sed by Keifer, being the playing toy of the boys of section e, not having any friends except the boys of section e, and finally being abandoned by her family who don't care about her at all. i hope Jay-Jay leaves section e, leaves her family, doesn't end up with either Keifer or Yuri, and to move as far away from everyone as possible. also, i was hoping we would get more background story on her blacking out & hulking out on anyone who hurts her; i thought that was gonna be the Dark Side but no, apparently the Dark Side is her getting played and abu*sed by everyone around her *deep sigh*
Sometimes, it's better to be physically beaten to death than to have your soul destroyed.
When I tell you that this episode was the most intense, most terrifying I've ever seen (even worse than when Vegas held Pete captive). I started to feel dread at the bathroom scene where Shu-Lang confronted Fan-Xiao. The atmosphere was cold and menacing, the confrontation sinister, the music ominous, and the demented look in Fan-Xiao's eyes sealed Shu-Lang's fate. Fan-Xiao was now a mad man, driven by his desire to capture and control every aspect of Shu-Lang's life; even the breath coming out of Shu-Lang now belongs to Fan-Xiao.
Fan-Xiao installing cameras all over Shu-Lang's apartment was DEMONIC, and even Shu-Lang retaliating by hiring an escort blew up in his face. From the flashback to his high school days, I believe that Shu-Lang has always been a bottom, but the way people treated him, made him take on a tough, domineering façade to protect himself. Fan-Xiao, stating the fact that Shu-Lang felt more pleasure being under a man (mf was crude as fck), took Shu-Lang back to the abuse he suffered for his orientation, and it was another low blow where Fan-Xiao destroyed Shu-Lang's dignity and soul a little bit more.
As someone who's never been where Shu-Lang is, I can confidently say that I felt every ounce of desperation and helplessness that Shu-Lang felt. Trapped in Fan-Xiao's deranged obsession, Shu-Lang had every chance of escaping taken away from him by Fan-Xiao; his career destroyed, his brother practically pimping him out for money, and finally, the one person who showed him kindness, Bai-Ting was in danger of becoming a plaything in vicious hands at the beck and call of Fan-Xiao. The tears streaming down Shu-Lang's face were his surrender, and Fan-Xiao will eventually reap the dark harvest of his poisonous sow.
I can't wait for next week ... the upcoming episodes are sure gonna make us sick.
This is no longer a game of manipulation. All the cards are out now. This is coercion, pretty much similar to…
he doesn't want Shu-Lang's submission, he wants Shu-Lang to be backed up into a corner, without any means of freedom, agency, or escape. He wants Shu-Lang's defiance, but with Shu-Lang by his side. Fan-Xiao did what Shin Jae-Min from "Secret Relationships" couldn't - 'I'll have you by any means, even at the cost of both of our lives'.
the way i was CHEERING ON Shulang when he was beating the holy hell out of Fan-Xiao, but apparently it wasn't enough because Fan-Xiao's become even more deranged and obsessive now 😭 literally trapping Shulang in a work partnership that he can't get out off, not unless he wants to be unemployed and jobless ... FAN-XIAO YOU PSYCHOTIC FIEND ... can't wait for the madness that's about to ensue 💋
joke's on him, i'm actually gonna like it 🤣 just don't suffocate me too much and we're good 🤣
Your Result: Yes Congratulations, he’s obsessed! He would literally die for you, and take you with him. Something about you caught his eye and he is determined to keep you by his side forever, no matter what.
- the way i was deceived by parallel world Ogami; his soft spoken voice, his beautiful dimpled smile, his gentleness towards Kano, his smoldering eyes, and his WET HAIR WHILE DRESSED IN A KIMONO - and don't get me started on the way he kabedoned Kano in his hotel room, while being a tall gentle giant in comparison; like when i tell you I FELL HARD FOR THAT MAN, only to realize he was playing Kano this whole time and was just using him to advance his position and career at the company - the betrayal i felt from parallel world Ogami.
- the way i SCREAMED when Kano returned to his world and when he slowly realized that the real world Ogami was actually madly in love with him from his small gestures of worry and love,
- the way i was giggling and kicking my feet when i saw the cold and aloof face or real world Ogami while noticing the subtle worry in his sharp eyes for Kano LIKE I WANT HIM, COLD EXTERIOR AND ALL.
the show is coming to an end and this family is a whole ass mess...
- pheem is probably the only sane one in this family, and i was right; he did what he had to do to avenge his mother, save his love, and take over the family fortune ... cruel as he may have been, you work with the cards dealt to you.
- chet is such an annoying stupid dog; ZERO brains, ZERO effect, and ZERO character; all he does is scream and throw tantrums like a crybaby and without his bodyguard park, he'd be even more useless.
- risa, that conniving bitch - she killed chet's mother, framed pheem for her murder, helped chet kidnap and ultimately try to kill pheem, and i'm sure later on would kill chet as well - then caused the death of her father ... all of this and she thinks she's the smartest person in the room. she actually thinks she'll come out on top in the end? stupid girl; and she's still gonna get chet to frame pheem for their father's death? i hope someone shoots her ugly mug next episode.
- than's friends: i know they're worried about him, but every time they show up on screen they piss me off - like mind your business and let than decide for himself on what to do.
- than needs some time to come to terms with everything ... pheem is NOT a perfect or goody-two-shoes character; he's an intelligent, cruel, and calculating business man who had to do what he had to do in order to survive and quench his thirst for revenge. pheem will always have that manipulative streak in him and than needs to decide; whether he'd be okay continuing with someone like pheem or not (also, pheem reminds me a lot of Film Thanapat's character Charn in Laws of Attraction. just as manipulative and conniving but equally as thirsty for love and admiration.)
FINALLY... we're getting the DARKER continuation of this crazy, heart-fluttering drama ... looks like i'm gonna stop being on Team Yuri this season (he's shown some antagonism in season 1 finale) and get on Team Kiefer ... also, can't wait for the plot to show Jay's back story and her blacking out / hulking out whenever she's in danger.
- not Shulang pulling out a sugar daddy/baby contract and forcing Fan Xiao to sign it 🤣 he really said 'if you want this cookie, you're gonna have to pay for it from now on'.
