Title Don't Disturb My Study Spoiler
Where did u watch the specials?
Alsooo, I just couldn't help myself, but I just had to let you know his proposal speech ^^

„Nan Xiang Wan, thank you!
Thank you for joining me in our last year of high school and for accompanying my youth. Thank you for being my side from me being a sports student and understanding nothing up until now with me wearing this uniform and being able to give you this promise. If it were not for you, I would not have been able to buy this ring. In the future I am going to treat you very, very well. You will not have to do the household chores; you know that I have mysophobia. I’m positive that I will do well. I may often be gone because of work, but as long as I’m there I’ll use all my time to spend it with you. At the morning I will put tooth paste on your toothbrush and I am going to prepare all your meals in time. I am going to show you with my actions that you have not chosen the wrong guy in these last past years, and in the future years I am still going to treat you very well.
I want to use the rest of my life to give you a satisfactory answers. Will you marry me?”

Where did u watch the specials?
In the first special, they were making the customized rings (Lin Xiaoran named them "good luck charms" for the gao kaos, but he also slipped and named them couple rings) and LXR "accidentally" engraved an "N”, which is why she then chose to engrave an L on hers. Afterward, when they were leaving to go home NXW did not trust LXR to get home safely, which is why they left together (psssh, as if, they just wanted to spend more time together :P)

There was also a short crisis of LXR leaving for the US to study when she was at the cafe making the phone calls (as if he would have left her ^^).

Also, at the beginning of the second special, LXR admitted to having noticed her after seeing her for the first time, told her that he at first thought that she must have had a problem with her brains but then found out that she was just different from the other girls and then went on to tell her that he didn't know when he started to have feelings for her (hence the many flashbacks). The funny thing is that she did not tell him that she liked him, too, when he repeatedly told her. She told him to pursue her to which he agreed. There was a part where he asked her where her favorite spot is and when she answered the library, he told her that he could accompany her there... XD

Then, years later during the café date, LXR was complaining that she did not pay attention to him and then went on to tell her that someone was eyeing her boyfriend which NXW did not believe -- BA DUM TSS--- enter random girl with a love letter for LXR who she did not know which is why the letter only said “To: (university) senior”. LXR told the random girl that NXW is his girlfriend but she did not believe him because she already saw them a couple of times before, but they were never acting like a couple and not sweet at all. Cue the peck on the cheek. Then LXR told NXW that it was the first peck on cheek from a girl to which she countered with Chen Shi Yun. Also, LXR was kind of proud of the “love letter” because it showed that he had charms which is why NXW showed him the gift in her bag which was supposedly one of the many gifts from other boys. LXR mentioned that he would find those boys for a battle and that he would send her gifts to the table in her university which just had to open (since she never kept the random presents) :P

The best thing though is the last scene where NXW was wearing that bear costume, which was a suggestion from Yu Meili. That was also were they ate ice cream in the first special. I'm pretty sure that you got that they were proposing to each other. At that time, they were already dating for seven years and when LXR mentioned that NXW was asking if he wanted to break up because of the “seven year itch” to which he answered that he would never be able to do that and she also mentioned that she never thought about it. THEN it came out that Liu Yu Bai and Chen Shi Yun were engaged, and that Yu Meili and Zhang Chao were already expecting their second baby. NXW then strangely mentioned that they would have to pack a big, big red envelope for the couples (when he was OBVIOUSLY trying to propose… ) Then they started fighting about her having no patience for him and she was complaining about the failed romantic surprise (the bear costume) and then came the proposal :D

Title Don't Disturb My Study Spoiler
The synopsis is referring to the book from which this drama is adapted. I read the last two chapters of the book,…
Yes, in the drama Nan Xiangwan did not need to return to the real world, since she never left. She was just reading the book that Yu Meili wrote. They mentioned it thrice in the drama that the book was about Nan Xiangwan's life (in the first episode, near the end when Nan Xiangwan encouraged Yu Meili with her Gao Kao and then at the end during the gathering).

The book is completely based on Nan Xiangwan's last year of high school where she suddenly had a change of character. To explain her sudden change, Yu Meili decided to have her travel time in the book she wrote. The second difference to Nan Xiangwan's real life is that Yu Meili "killed off" Lin Xiaoran during their Gaokao. (Hence the mother crying at the hospital when Lin Xiaoran was laying on the bed).

In short: the drama is about the book which Yu Meili wrote about Nan Xiangwan's life.

I hope I explained it better and that you understood what I mean.

I'm so confuse with the synopsis, so her returning to the past and changing thing is just in her head? in reality…
The synopsis is referring to the book from which this drama is adapted. I read the last two chapters of the book, in which nobody knew her but she knew everyone (in the end). From what I can see, the drama has a better ending.

In the drama, it is not a dream and neither a time/book travel. Everything from EP 1 up until before she woke up in bed in EP 24 was all the book's content, which Yu Meili wrote and Nan Xiangwan read.

I was unsure whether EP1 was also included in the books because of the radio scene where Mr. Lin asked Miss Nan to go home (since Lin Xiaoran did die before Gaokao in the book) but she didn't wear her ring, so it has to be a scene from the book. Maybe the radio referred to another Mr. Lin or the scriptwriters/producers made a mistake?

But really, EP 24 where they had a class gathering explained it all: In "reality" Nan Xiangwan and Lin Xiaoran knew each other before their last year of school (Gao San). Lin Xiaoran didn't get into an accident like in the book but was partaking in Gaokao just fine, it was only Nan Xiangwan who thought it was him which is why she didn't get into her dream university.

At the ending of the real book: she also attended the class gathering because Lin Xiaoran invited her after meeting each other on the plane or something (They didn't know each other then but only found out that they were from the same school). When she attended the gathering she knew everyone but nobody but Jiang Da Ling knew her and Jiang Da Ling only knew her because she saw her picture after Gao Kao once. Also, in the real book Nan Xiangwan did attend her dream university.

I binged watched this drama in under 36 hours. I wouldn't say that this is the best youth drama but it was definitely interesting and different from the "time travels/book travels" that I have seen. The love lines are there but because of "Gaokao", I wouldn't say that this is the main focus of this drama. Well, it is present but not "active"? But still cute! And every time when there are they are acting couple-ly, you should take notice of the friends' reactions behind or beside them. So funny!
The main point was definitely their studies and ways to improve their studies but also camaraderie. Their friendship and connection of their class definitely makes me jealous because I didn't have anything like that ^^
Last but not least, I really, reeeeally LOVED the ending. Finished it with a smile! I even watched the specials, kind of sad that they didn't put it into the drama.

The waiting is oh so painful. I knew I shouldn't have started it yet. Now all I think about for the next few weeks is when the next episodes are going to air... D:

Such a lovely drama! The parts where they talked about the parent's love for their children just hit home. When they talked about their dreams and future, it actually got me thinking. The best part is that it's actually playing in a time where one (born in the '90s) can relate. I really loved Reply 1988 and this drama reminded me a lot of it, just that this one was more relatable and understandable for me since I grew up in a Chinese household and am also born in the '90s :P
I'm kind of sad, that I didn't see any trailers from this drama. I only found out about it because I liked Marcus Li's performance in Go Go Squid. I wouldn't say that they are all the best actors, but there is definitely potential and also... what's not to love about the friendship portrayed in this drama? It's something that a lot of people wish for but is hard to find ^^

The beginning wasn't bad but there were times where I really wanted to shake Tong Nian to know how her brain works. I think I really started to enjoy this drama after Ep 10-15. I really like the KK Boys, though. Soooo funny :D

A cute and calm drama with no real drama, I would say. The main couple handled their problems like a pro! Refreshing to watch a drama without a couple breaking up or having misunderstandings/miscommunications left and right

Just one thing I always wondered: What happened to Chuchu's brother?
Did he die in the fire? But in the later episodes, they did mention a few times that they would bring her brother back and that they would be reunited again.... Did they mean his ashes?

Shed a lot of tears which ended up in laughter because of the storyline. It was a serious rollercoaster ride of emotions for me and, of course, I still enjoyed every moment of it.
You can see that they put a lot of work into the different sceneries and that they did the best they could during the beginning of the COVID pandemic at the beginning of last year. However, in the last episode, one scene seemed especially... well CG designed. In order to find out whether I was just too engrossed in the storyline and never noticed it before, I’ll be starting this drama again soon. :p

EDIT: I'm currently re-watching and as it seems, I was just too engrossed to notice the many CG scenes, lol
