I agree with u... except for the thing that SOKP had many flaws(it had some tho)... initially the dragged the Yan family thing for a quite a lot...but the later eps were great ...while initially AJTL was very nice but got boring towards the end... true i definitely like xie wei the most n I agree I am biased coz of it...I just loved his grey character n the tactic understanding between the leads n how they won over their enemies every time...i kind of like the leads winning all the time tho it's unrealistic...so ya that was just my opinion... surely people hv different tastes so they might like AJTL more...
before starting this drama I had asked how this drama was compared to SOKP...most of the comments said it was way better so I started watching it...ya for the initial eps it was definitely at par with SOKP or maybe better...but I hv watched till ep 30 n was already losing interest as the story isnt actually progressing...its just revenge for empress zhaojie n king of Wu rescue going on... the FL is my fav n the bgm when she goes out killing people is definitely the best...she is also the biggest reason I like this drama... the ML is good but too righteous for me(as I am more into grey characters this year)... I would still be completing this drama tho I know it will hv a bittersweet ending... but ig SOKP will still be the best ancient drama for me this year...
ok so acc to the spoilers I hv read...almost all the main characters die...RY and NYZ are together in death...but YY - YL couple separated as YL died...n YSS - Chu Yue couple separated as YSS died?LTG, YY, CY survived but the ones they loved died?this ending is not my type at all...but will still watch it to the end(on ep 20 now)...
did LTG hv feelings for anyone else except for ren ruyi towards the end?...I hv just watched 20 eps till now...but I wanna know what will happen to him...n also chu Yue(his fiance) n liu li(his attendant)?
it was a great drama!!! My fav drama of 2023 along with SOKP!!!!... already rewatched it so many times...still can't get over it...ep 12 has all my heart
I would really recommend people to watch this drama ...don't let the hate comments stop u from watching this masterpiece (u know SJK has many haters after his divorce n remarriage)...but this show is definitely worth the watch ...SJK, JYB and taecyon all did a great job...the story was amazing too...i found the first ep quite boring n dropped this but picked it up at ep 2...n it became so interesting...
i really liked the first 8 eps...the leads are already together...quite fast paced...but acc to the comments there is no misunderstanding or love triangle or breakup or anything....so what am I gonna see for the rest of the eps?...I mean just sweet bubbly dramas are not my type...though I like light-hearted dramas but if they don't hv any problems n just everyday life is shown then I dont think I will still be interested...

Every man in this drama is a jerk...even the best of men cheated on their partners but were shown as innocent n pure...while the wives who were cheated on did some crazy stuff...it was more like wives vs mistresses drama where the mistresses were the good ones...the only single righteous character this drama had was mingta... but ms mam totally had my heart...this drama is overrated for me as I can't tolerate cheating men acting innocent...even the ML slept with the FL's sis...n his reaction when he saw the FL with Sawit was too much...the amount of downgrade women had to face in this drama was insane...the only plus point it has is that the story was good(but too draggy) n the actors were nice...as for cons -1. no respect for women all over the drama2. no sense...just random stuff going on specially last few eps ....i mean the police can't be this useless...3. every man cheated...no women(except FL)were good too...either they were the jealous n crazy wives or the pretending to be victim mistresses...tbh no one in this drama deserved a happy ending...I lost my interest in this drama at ep 13 when ML spent a night with that evil sis of FL... but watched till ep 19-20 at 2x speed just to see my fav character (ms mam) dying...4. every character had a time in which they were hella annoying...mingta was so annoying for the first 10-12 eps...tor/sila was annoying for eps after 13 ...sida ,Sawit, mingkwan n her mom were always annoying...I liked mingta's dad but just couldn't digest the fact that he had min after he cheated on his wife...overall it was just so so...u can watch mainly for revenge n action if u can ignore some stupidities...don't expect a flawless story...p.s. the ML forced kissed the FL many time before he slept with her sis...so I think that is called two timing...anyway the ML was toxic af...
although I liked a Thai drama "enigma"..this one was not my cup of tea...I would rather stick to k and c dramas ...atleast women aren't this mistreated there...n atleast the leading man(actually most of the men) is only devoted to the FL ...
