u people found TTJ crazy?...tbh he was one of the most righteous MLs...he was not crazy at all except for some of his demon god parts in the rest of the parts he was a normal n kind human...
meanwhile xie wei was much more complex...he was jealous, possessive n morally grey...he could kill decisively...he was hell bent on revenge... definitely he was more crazy

coz she knows he has dementia when exposed to snow...it's his weakness n he doesn't want anyone to know that's what he said in the previous life ...so xuening thinks he will kill her coz she knows his secrets

Xie Wei may not always win, but he will never lose...this is so true...to think he was always 10 steps ahead of his enemies at calculating n plotting...he won every game no matter what difficulty he was faced with...n he won everytime whether it was the previous life or this one...
one of my fav cdrama ML 🔥

from "you are mine" to "I am yours"...I loved each n every scene of the main leads...the chemistry was 🔥🔥

I just didn't want this masterpiece to end...if only it could go on forever... I loved it...one of the best historic cdrama out there ...from the start to the end not even a single ep which was below standard...
anyway its not yet the end for SOKP for me...I am gonna re-watch it again...I can't let go of this...xie wei and xuening hv already occupied a place in my mind

initially even the overall drama wasn't bad ...so ya I gave it a 9.5...later when there was no story n just dragging I decreased it to 8...however I always gave it somewhat higher rating than it deserves for the characters (park hyung sik n park bo young special appearance n ryu si o were the biggest reasons for that)

the only good thing this drama did was to bring Byeon woo seok to fame!!... nothing else

everything goes around in circles in all the eps n then it ends with a cliffhanger n nothing has changed or will change

I gave it a 9.5 at first for ryu si o....decreased it to 8 ....it doesn't deserve a rating more than 6.5...1.5 extra for ryu si o

ig he was attracted ever since she saved him when they came to the capital

ep 32 was lit....literally the best ep... the kiss, the convo, the chemistry everything was on fire....
ik many wouldn't like the forced kiss but in those circumstances it was fine... moreover its a drama n not real life....so ya it was definitely a great scene after 30 eps of only verbal chemistry n no physical contact ....i am so happy ning'er is finally falling for XW...so so so excited for future eps

maybe the empress dowager wasn't this guarded against her that she is with Jiang Xuehui....n she isn't the one who will compromise like Xuehui n be satisfied with position of just a concubine when she was promised that of a consort...anyway we know she used a lot of people n schemed a lot to get to that position ....
or another possibility could be that they didn't get married before the present emperor's death...it was only after shen jie became the emperor that he married her as his consort n then made her the empress...coz u can see for now he only has 2 wives(consort n concubine) but if he becomes the emperor he will marry others too whose positions will be determined by him only....n ig concubine's can still be promoted to position of consort in special circumstances

I would have to rewatch this after complete airing as I hv already forgotten the starting eps...such a good drama definitely deserves a binge re-watch

I love xie wei being cunning and playing mind games...pls suggest more of such dramas where either the ML or both ML n FL are clever n plotting things...
I love grey character leads...not those goody two shoes always pretending to be righteous....pls suggest some dramas with such leads(both modern n historical work)

not me falling for the anti heroes(it hurts to call them villain) tho they are the worst people to ever exist...idk why but dark aura, sad past, mysterious vibe and mind games just hook me to them...I can't get over them no matter what ...n it's not only for this drama but still in other dramas the main leads are also good n I support n ship them...but here everything n everyone is such a mess that I don't even understand who exactly the main characters are...I could only like n root for the anti hero...

p.s. I even kindof liked Jung ba reum ( mouse )and imoogi(tale of nine tailed), Jung joon woo(vincenzo- thi I liked Vincenzo more there coz he was also anti hero) n Jay(delightfully deceitful) so this is nothing in front of them....

ok...thanks for explanation...but i thought she would hold a grudge against him instead of helping him ... denying the marriage is not something to be avenged...ya she shouldn't have said mean words but that too doesn't deserve this kind of punishment....
even Zhang zhe couldnt punish her...coz all he did was his own choice but ya she was at fault in his case...so he can still be rude to her but idt anyone else deserve to punish or insult her

I think after the emperor dies n shen jie became the emperor it would be easy for him to just issue a decree n make her the empress moreover she had the support of xingwu guards n all...coz the empress is selected only after the husband becomes the emperor before everyone is just consort n concubine...n Jiang Xuening was clever enough to become a consort...
