as I said it was just an example...there are many cases where the villain tries to win the FL...n they are all very handsome but still people watch the show for its story...
I agree nam soon hates shi o but one has to admit the scenes they have together are brilliant which is what we called chemistry...and all actors are handsome coz obvio one of the requirements to be an actor is being handsome or just decent looking...people actually know shi O's back story n the sufferings he had gone through n how he became evil...they know about him n his character much more than any other character in the show...n that's what I think made a difference obvio his looks are cherry on top...while for the ML we just know he is a cop n that's all so even his looks won't work to make people like his character...not to mention the little amount of screen time he is given his character is doing all time pass things neither is his character serious nor funny...so obvio people would find someone else to compensate for inability of the character to entertain them n shi o just seems to offer the things missing from the ML's character....anyway that's what my opinion is...maybe urs is different...
I am still gonna watch this show for the actions ryu shi o will take to deal with nam soon n her family

no...the villain in vincenzo was quite handsome too...but people didnt like him more than the ML or watch the show solely for him(just an example)...n this is the case with most dramas...its just in this drama only the villain character was written well plus the actor is good too...while the rest of the script is messed up

the end was satisfying

so ryu shi o will try to kill nam soon...my ship sank

i dont like the show overall but ryu si o makes me watch it...every ep ends with a cliffhanger related to ryu si o n so i hv to watch the next ep just to be disappointed with the story still going around in circles ...n he is the only reason I am still watching this ...n there are many others similar to my situation

brothers?....can u tell me if u remember how his brother died...i fast forwarded that part?...but i think ml's brother died when he was older while ryu si o was in pavel since childhood

I am loving Ning, zz, and XW interactions...the scene where XW confronted zz was so intense...I am shipping both ningxzhangzhe and ningx xie wei....however the main couple(XW x Ning) has a upper hand... generally in a drama with multiple leads the attention on main lead is a little less(sometimes people are confused with who the ML is)...but here we can clearly see xie wei dominance...n I like it... eagerly waiting for the next eps...
but why did the ratings drop again... I don't think there has been any episode yet which has disappointed people...I wish the ratings will rise soon

in the previous life where Jiang Xuening became the empress n later suicide...after Yan Lin's family's death Ning refused to marry him and got married to shen jie instead(taking place of her sister) n later after the current emperor(shen lang) died his brother shen jie became the emperor and Ning became the empress...Zhang zhe was also implicated due to Ning n he lost his mother(as shown in ep 24)...later xie Wei(who is actually dingfei) colluded with Yan lin and rebelled n the emperor(shen jie) died of poisoning while Ning was kept under house arrest by xie wei...by this time Ning had already realised the wrongs she did in her life n how all the people who liked her in the past now hated her...so she decided to give up her life(taking the blame of poisoning the emperor) and asked for Zhang zhe's freedom in return of her death...n after which she was reborn n then the story continues...

well u can see the number of people who voted for this drama under the ratings ...and I guess the final rating is the average of all the ratings by the users...

when u start to worry about the feelings of the villain coz he is the only character with a solid backstory and a past u can sympathize with...other characters even including the mains (except nam soon) don't have any backstory or something we can relate to...

maybe the writers were only sober when they were writing about the villain...
well I do feel bad about the actors...they are doing their best but can't make up for the ruined script/story

for me both are equally interesting...well I am actually a person who prefers romance over politics but the politics and mind games in this drama are lit...

now I finally know why this show is so frustrating....they ground in circles which absolutely no progress in the story during the whole episode but just at the end of the ep they show a cliffhanger n a little bit development...n then due to the gap people tend to forget about that intriguing part n in the next episode they are still going around in circles which leads to people skipping all parts in search of intersting things n at the end there's only 1 interesting thing - Ryu Shi O....

tbh the grandma's love affair her husband n her son, ML's n his team's convo n steps to investigate, Hwang geum Jo with bread song guy etc they are all of no use coz the villain is ryu si o, nam soon n Hwang geum Joo are the investigators(who actually do something)...that's it... nothing else...the rest are just fillers in order to make it a 16 ep series which doesn't even have a story of 4 eps...
even the drug case has now become draggy n uninteresting...moreover there is little to no use of the super powers(which was actually the main concept of the show)...n those so called comdey parts in the middle of intense scene are just annoying...
they tried their best to copy or overtake SWDBS but they failed miserably in all aspects except for a better villain...
I am sure this 8 rating is coz of the villain...otherwise this drama doesn't deserve a rating over 6.5/7...

ok...it's already 24 eps now...please show atleast a little romance between XW and Ning...I already feel the strong chemistry between them... although I like Ning and ZZ chemistry too but it's kind of simple sweet love...I want more of witty, intense, serious type relationship which can only be seen between Jiang Xuening and Xie wei...

I wish the rating goes upto 8.9-9...this drama deserves it...

for once I was happy with people on live stream shipping Jiang hu n wu...she really deserves someone who stands by her n supports her in her most difficult time...Xu si should move on too n continue with his business...I do want them to reconcile after they are both doing well in their businesses but just as business partners(it would be better if JH has a upper hand by then) but not as lovers...they can have a relationship as there is between JH and gao yi...

I still think zhaogaoyang doesn't deserve yang jian even after the latest ep...but anyways I didn't care about their relationship since the beginning...but I do hope JH and yang jian always support each other n yang jian gets the success n happiness he deserves...

coz it wasn't interesting in the first place...just the scenes of villain are worth watching...

thats coz the empress(now empress dowager) ordered dingfei(now xie wei) to die for her son...maybe its a guilt n haunting past for both of them..

ps - ok so not guilt but kind of bad memory...n they don't allow anyone to speak about it maybe coz of the fear of investigation n finding about their dirty deeds

i completely support JH...we saw the efforts she put in idk why others specially XS didnt see them....but i think there could be other ways for JH to take action...however XS deserved that slap coz he kind of betrayed his gf...i didnt like ZGY from the beginning n now i know why...she is too selfish while pretending to be the sweetest...Yang jian deserves better...so is it true JH's father betrayed GY's father? coz i read a comment that it was the other way...also who released the news of shen gui's disappearance ? was it XS n his assistant?
