the story picks up in ep2, I think if you love Ji Sung you will enjoy it despite not liking political courtroom dramas. The standout of the drama is the cast (I keep calling it a Jisung harem drama in my head xD)

if you didn't like it after ep2-3 then it's more understandable to drop

the highlight of this drama is def the acting and the character dynamics, Jisung and Heesoon served as always, most of the actors did their job so well and playing on each other that they made an average plot more dynamic and enjoyable. Shoutout to Oh Seyoung for playing such a complex character well while being a new-ish actress, def excited to see more from her

I however couldn't care less about the judicidal politics, still don't know who's who in the whole room of old men in suojae, besides the president and shinjin and the S shopping guy. Whether Hanyoung wins or Shinjin wins didn't really matter to me. But I knew shinjin was losing cuz I did read the webtoon, but did also think about what if hanyoung just joined the dark side instead? mainly cuz jisung and heesoon had such good chemistry

The two things I couldn't stand tho was the choppy editing and the way music is used in the drama, it took me out of the drama so many times. So personally I'm not really interested in a s2 unless they find another director.

I do think Sehee is also a player in hanyoung's revenge in the webtoon (less in the drama) with how many times Hanyoung needed her to do something, so I'll still consider her the lead and her character shouldn't be changed that drastically here

just wanna say that there's a lot of focus on sehee in the drama cuz in the source material she's the female lead. but also giving her this plotline kinda diverged from the source material so not sure where they will end up

I'm so mad they released it as a preview it's should be a reward for shippers who stuck with them throughout their progression. The satisfaction of watching it as a preview won't be as strong as getting surprised in the drama 😭
