many good looking shows releasing this month!

The ratings are soaring! I just rewatched the first 3 episodes with Eng sub (previously watched with Chinese subs) and realised I missed out so much details! Then continued with episode 4 with Eng sub. I don’t agree with the SFL that the ML expresses himself better with music... he is so smooth with his words and that voice of his! I like how the FL reacts to that - more like accepting with glee openly rather than be shy etc... They are so cute together! The trailer for episode 5 is really evil! Have to wait one more week! :(

It happens to the higher profile dramas such as TKEM; for K-Dramas we often see Subway, Pizza Hut etc... I think in Dinner Mate the characters were saying that there this place where the food is nice - end up it's Pizza hut... Subway in IOTNBO and even ROY.... The worst recently I watched was in Symphony Romance, one of the characters was blackmailing the other on 10 boxes of XXX brand beauty products... I was like WTH?
LOL Jap relief plasters for SF... Over here we sometimes compare people that follow someone too closely as plaster (sticky you know what I mean)... so SF's plaster is XJ :)

I think VIU has it which subs is in Eng... I am watching with Chinese subs, it is not easy with all the names of the classical music reference...

That one I watched it because of Steven Zhang, but dropped it at ep. 15-16.... it is all over the place and cannot stand the product placement. Watch period drama better, at least SF won't suddenly take out a instant curry powder to cook or put on a facial mask instead of the lover's curse mask... lol

LOL, funny someone just commented I legend for watching L&R... I told her I nothing compared to those who rewatched it several times.
The shows including the K-Dramas you listed are quite current so you are not missing much. Symphony of Love is it the Symphony's Romance (Steven Zhang)?

LOL hardly a legend if compared to some who actually rewatched it a few times... yes it is the most popular C-Drama currently. :)

yeps... I catching 3Cs and 3Ks ATM. Record of Youth first 2 episodes not too promising IMO, probably because I watched it with high expectations. but Bo Gum is good in it.

Yeah.. I saw that it is only 8 episodes... compared to the 59 episodes drama I am catching now...

Oooo.... James Franco.. The ML is a key (or even deciding factor) to watch or drop for me... hope he does well here.

Yes, the ending of ep. 3... it was so smooth. Think someone was telling me about the ending of episode 7 for "Buzzer Beat", find this even better.

Yes, the FL looks more her screen age of 29, her younger peers only appear in the beginning so far and one intern working with her. The ML is the same batch as her and is a bit too young to play 29 - but after watching ep. 3, all is forgotten.

I am so sorry, I meant DYLB all are supposed to be 29 years old but they are so young. For ROY they are all 26 years so probably ok.... may bad. so sorry for the confusion.

I watched Itaewon class first episodes, the issues highlighted in IC is far more serious IMO... ROY is lighter and is more like the old school family dispute for the tension scenes. ROY, the age was the main concern when I started watching it... the leads are actually both 29 years old... They are all not looking that age especially the ML. The SFL looks that age but she is in real life 25yo.

It is first and second in many of the Chinese drama platforms, so it is potentially going to win that in 2020 - no other C-Dramas comes to mind...

Nope, I am working.... and working from home since April. So when I not too busy I can catch dramas in the afternoons... so probably what I will do tomorrow for L&R :)
