I am so sorry, I meant DYLB all are supposed to be 29 years old but they are so young. For ROY they are all 26 years so probably ok.... may bad. so sorry for the confusion.

I watched Itaewon class first episodes, the issues highlighted in IC is far more serious IMO... ROY is lighter and is more like the old school family dispute for the tension scenes. ROY, the age was the main concern when I started watching it... the leads are actually both 29 years old... They are all not looking that age especially the ML. The SFL looks that age but she is in real life 25yo.

It is first and second in many of the Chinese drama platforms, so it is potentially going to win that in 2020 - no other C-Dramas comes to mind...

Nope, I am working.... and working from home since April. So when I not too busy I can catch dramas in the afternoons... so probably what I will do tomorrow for L&R :)

I caught 3 episodes of DYLB and 2 episodes of ROY, DYLB is pretty slow in ep. 1 and 2 but I prefer the build up over ROY. They are of different genres but the presentation of DYLB as a drama flows much better and the script/editting is more consistent. ROY wins on Bo Gum alone!
Episode 3 of DYLB, must watch the end, OMG I had goosebumps!

There is also Love is Sweet and Dating in the kitchen that maybe airing! Gosh we will be spoiled for choice!

Yes they were saying min. 80 to 100++ performances, not considering practice and the travelling etc... Guess it is "easier" if the family is well-to-do so there is one big load off the mind... and it is often ppl not thinking of these when you look at the glamorous appearance.

LOL, last night I was catching Do you like Brahms and Record of Youth... today just one episode of DYLB so I can be prepared as you mentioned :) Maybe the extended episode from The sleepless princess as well?

Definitely! Last week I was still contemplating to watch L&R ep. 45-53 or Finale to The Sleepness Princess... well no prize for guessing what I chose to watch finally... I left TSP for the next day :)

I am following so many dramas that I sleeping at 2-3am every night! Tomorrow will be another crazy day with all the releases!

I think there is a reason for having different genres so I get you. I like his interaction with the Granddad but the background of the family and how it was presented... like you say didn't feel right. I am currently watching Do you like brahms, preferred that though not as high profile and different genre.

I didn't like the scenes at the ML's house, like what you said felt like an old school korean family drama.

BTW she's quite tall... just that the MLs are normally so tall that you can't tell
