He wanted to get the GOW power for himself so he made the container with 99 souls for that purpose. The GOW power is so that he can control MS and not report to him which is his intentions from the beginning. So he may not know the 10 tribulations but he definitely is looking to harness some power for himself. Either from JTCH or that he found out that he can also get the power from GOW later. The previous story is such that the Monkey previously given him one half of the JTCH which he thought is the inferior half so he betrayed the monkey to try to get all of it.

I think it is quite subjective, J-Dramas were previously dominant in my country and when K-Dramas started here I hardly think that the Korean actors were hardly good looking when compared to Kimura etc. When I started C-Dramas I find many of them are not what I consider good looking but many did grow on me as the drama progress. I do notice that most popular ones are really tall by Asia standards.

Chose to start this over the other currently airing drama with Sebrina in it. Started off like it is going to be a smart and credible detective drama. Doesn't take long to know that it is really just really fluff. Still okay to watch but just wished that they could have made it more balanced. The crime solving so far (first 2 eps.) was so predictable and just felt lacking, hope as they gather more experience it will improve. Nice to see the boys from King's Avatar. :)

Ya... this explanation makes more sense that he took the forget love pill and the curse was halted, the mask removed and the symbol on the arm vanishing. The mom probably just rejected him to remove the mask and caused the curse to activate; and she took the chance to run off. The mask wasn't removed then.
