A couple of days back I commented that I read some comments about the ending not being that good. I thought I was prepared for it but apparently not so. I just made myself finish episode 31 (until 3am) so that I could see the "reveal" - chanced upon this spoiler yesterday.

For 36 episodes I guess I shouldn't be surprised to see the SML repeatedly wearing black camo, shooting arrows, distributing propaganda materials and running/jumping away from the authorities. It is like he was trying to get caught which it often happened and he never learned. Characters like to put themselves in compromising situations/position like they are looking for trouble, yes it is for drama but it is just a bit forced.

The lead CP repeatedly ignoring each other, initially it was cute but later part I just lose track of why. The ML a dude who always keeps his promise suddenly decided that he'd break it by wanting to marry someone else; he promised the FL he wouldn't get married until he graduates. This part I was a quite surprised when he said they were together and agreed to the engagement.

To many "coincidences", when the FL decided to reveal her secret the teacher appeared out of nowhere to stop it, as if he is Prof Xavier from X-Men.

I will complete it tonight, quite a waste since it is quite good from episode 2 onward.

I almost wanted to tell myself that it is could somehow be due to me starting "In a Class of Her Own" while waiting for new episodes; I had thought so earlier with 35 episodes fillers are bound to happen but this is a tad too early... I caught a few more episodes of "In a Class of Her Own" after and there were some nonsense as well, what a bad drama night for me... :(

Episode 22 is slightly better, many things out in the open - hooded guy is probably just as we guessed. ML has to remarry probably as he fought and won against the country of the girl he is supposed to marry. So it is a plot so that he cannot fight against them anymore.

Just completed episode 21 - really bad scenes/music, just trying to be funny but don't find it funny at all. Could be worse than watching a sad episode which I thought I'd be watching. + some draggy stuff between the 3... It's like a different show, hope they don't continue with this nonsense for future episodes.

You are at episode 8 and only release until 22 episodes, this has total 30+++ episodes?

I see that you are also watching "in a class of her own" and on hold for a while, are you also close to dropping it?

"Train to Busan" is still entertaining but with loads of Zombie themed shows out there, it gets kinda repetitive - I'll still catch the sequel. "The Wailing" not too sure why it is so hyped, it such a boring watch and even worse seen have to read the subs at the same time without much to offer. It's like they are trying to do "The Exorcist" but failed. Now I recall a funny experience when I was catching "Dark Water" with a friend at the cinema and he jumped out for his seat during one of the "jump scare" scenes. I didn't get scared by that scene but got a fright from his sudden movement.

Oh yes I learnt that you are from HK though I didn't know it had that effect. I think I read that both him and ZLS are the leads that drama but just didn't pay attention to it due to the bad reviews.

I understand what you mean, I only wrote simple reviews myself for dramas that are not so popular which may prove to be more useful for others.

What was the highest rating that you ever given to a drama? Which drama is it? :)

Oh... it was so intense on big screen - especially the "car chase" and the "wall scaling" moments... Haven't really caught any horror movies for a while as my family doesn't wanna watch with me. My last horror movie was "The Wailing" which is such a disappointment. "Train to Busan" was ok but probably more of a thriller and horror...

Never completely aired? Meaning there should be a season 2 that never came? Love of a thousand years, I like Zhao Lu Si! I didn't know he was in there, think it kinda escaped my radar due to the ratings.

Shutter is my favs among the list... I remember watching it at the cinema and it was really scary driving back. Don't recall any other horror movies that left an deep impression after. I remember those HK horror movies that I watched when I was young, probably should be lame if rewatch them now.

Wow that is too long a drama for me! The only other drama I know he was in is an adaptation of a Chinese anime. It is a pretty lengthy anime that is in it's 3rd season and still running so I am not sure I wanna start on the drama.

LOL... this role is totally the opposite of the only other show I watched with him in it - Love o2o. Not all good looking dudes can look good in period dramas especially with the hairdo, he's one of those that look good. Just that he looks really young. The casting in China is very often perculiar, often you see young looking actors as generals etc and old looking chaps as young adults.

I am actually more impressed with the FL now that she realises she loves the ML, really mature and thoughtful. The ML on the other hand became abit frustrating to watch... doesn’t get his priorities right and not decisive. So far only episode 17 I am not so impressed, the rest were ok.

Yeah so far so good... the writer(s) didn't force plot which I hate most. The flow is pretty smooth.
