No sure if it is because her dad passed away 3 years ago that she didn't call him after getting his number. Who knows what could have happened since the ML got together with the current GF after that (they are together for 2 years +). All the "what ifs".... sigh

I'd think so too as the dad strangled her when she visited him though the doctor mentioned she might have reminded him of someone (probably the mom). There is a possibility that the dad could have killed the mom because of her.

Just finished ep. 6 great episode but the part with the flashback where how he hesitated to save his brother and how he got saved is a bit off. The bloopers were a fun bonus.

Really dislike those inconsistencies in plot and character. Just to force a certain storyline and making it ridiculous.

I didn't come across the other materials so I started this with an "untainted" mind. It was fine from 3rd episode onward, with a feel of "Skate into Love" + "A love So Beautiful". Then it may have been just as you said it messed up the theme. I cannot stand inconsistencies in plot or character development unless unique situations; I like Steven Zhang but I was somehow irritated by his portrayal here. He was only good in "Skate into Love" and "Young Blood" IMO.

Thanks for advice, will put this on hold. Started it because of the ML but don't think he did well to express what he wanted from the role or the drama just isn't very well made. FL knew she wants to teach kids to play the piano so why can't they leave her alone? Think the advice from Fei She Er was repeated at least thrice that she will not be "good enough" for the ML if she continues. Is the ML looking for a lover or a career partner? And when the friend commented that he is not chasing his dream by staying put - he just storms into his room and slams the door (WTH?). Many scenes/dialogue were just so awkward/unnatural. Maybe I am not arty enough.

Halfway through episode 15, struggling abit since episode 11. Nothing too interesting and loads of flashbacks. Contemplating to drop...

Started and caught all 4 episodes over the weekend. Really pleasantly surprised how well Seo Ye Ji did here so far + she looked stunning throughout especially the white dress at the later part of episode 4. The way she portrayed her her character is so intriguing that I am so eager to find out what really happened to her. Looking forward to this weekend!

I watched one of the trailers, there was this part about the ML being the barrier to the FL's development so guess she will be the focus. Just hope it's coming soon!

They have added some catalyst in the last few episodes for that to happen.

Just caught episode 9, at last it is moving with positive development. Best and favourite episode yet. Going into episode 10 now.

Most of the Cdramas are dubbed I noticed, especially under certain studios. Yes he can speak Mandarin based on the behind the scenes vids.

The "cam shake" got me dizzy as well especially watching on a bigger TV. The other obvious downside the advertising, it just disrupts it when the characters unnaturally promotes a brand. It happens in other Cdramas as well but it doesn't make it less irritating. "I buy you XXX brand mask, take this XXX brand curry", thanks but no thanks...

Ratings dropped to 3.8. Caught episodes 5 and 6, scene transitions still rather messy, got a bit giddy in the beginning of episode 5 as was watching on a big TV and there was a bit of "shaky cam". ML performing according to expectations (minus the hair that gets in his way). FL did well and not irritating at least to me. Rest of the cast did okay too except for the rival conductor. Won't be buying Japanese curry roux and bottled milk for a while though.

Well there is also Yubing's father and Manager Ma, as well as Zhou Zhou's teacher. Still continue as long as it doesn't overdo things and still has enough contents. A bit doubtful though as it has 40 episodes to fill.

Almost wanted to drop it after the 1st episode, finding the sequence and dialogues rather peculiar. Gets better and easier to watch after the 3rd episode.
