For me the start of the chaos is quite flawed too, many parts are rather messy and not explained. How the characters handle loss is rather inconsistent as well.

The Concubine is the worst in drama, she is just pure evil. Not saving someone who just saved you because of? That is not selfishness, it is just disgusting. At least Luo Zi Shang has a reason for being the main antagonist and he gave the FL a chance for old time's sake.
