I don't know if its translated proper to english. Maybe in Korean sentence is structured different for that to…
Something along the line as my thoughts... He is just saying that he did not kill her with the intention to lie that she had died. Maybe she was just trying to run away from something/one - the crazy brother or what whom the ML has been protecting her from all this while.

Because it is going to be 30 episodes.... I have been waiting for them to get together but maybe abit slower on after they get together... with 16 episodes left, I guess it is going to be their struggles to adulthood, and may be misunderstanding or break up (I hope not since there isn't a strong 3rd party trope so far) which I dislike. I haven't read the novel so can only guess.
At the end of episode 14, she was hiding their relationship from public because of a friend which seems unnecessary with her being a straightforward girl so far... is that going to lead to a typical big fight etc?
I've watched first 3 episodes, hm... it's kind of boring... is Shen Juan supposed to be a bit "bad guy" or not?…
Think the high school part is a bit too slow so I watched but didn't focus so much. It was not unwatchable but for adults can come across as too childish and typical. Now I am more keen when they are in University, but you have to go beyond episode 12 for that.
Watched the anime, read the comics... then watched the first episode of this... advice is to watch the anime or read the comics (just that the comics can be a bit too wordy)
lol I did literally fall asleep watching at one point in the first few eps - it feels like they unnecessarily…
Even season one, I felt it became not as interesting and forced after the appearance of the Prince... so I think you are right, we prefer the mystery solving and not the political stuff.
Finally had the time to start watching. Just finished episode one and it's well worth the wait imho. I love the…
Now that you said it... ML's eyes were bloodshot throughout episode 1 - I just made myself think that he was tearing after knowing what happened to the FL.
Yes you are right that not long after season 1... their mannerisms changed too much... except Wang Kuan.
Watched the 1st episode last night, almost fell asleep. Ya Nei's character felt so awkward not just because they changed the actor, the mannerism somehow changed and it is just so unnatural. Xue Ying also felt so different compared to Season 1, so as Pei Jing. Only Wang Kuan is most consistent. Will wait for more episodes and the ratings before deciding whether to continue.
Which part is this? If you're referring to Mo Bei, that's not his sword.
Exactly. You wanna frame someone, just get a sword from his camp which should not be difficult to obtain and use it to assassinate the emperor - just so easy since the Emperor and Crown prince must too gullible to believe someone will do that.

Both of them gave me the "John Wick" Vibes lol
